“Perfect hotel for Christmas”
This hotel is super classic ,perfect for Christmas time, and the tradition and facilities are very good. This is a perfect hotel to stay in winter.
“Deer Lodge”
I LOVED this hotel. It was cozy and romantic and historical. It was a five minute walk to Lake Louise, where you can go skating or look at the ice sculptures or tour the Chateau (very beautiful). There were also lots of board games at the front desk if you wanted to stay inside the hotel. It was also very close to the ski hill. I would say it was in the perfect location! I would definitely stay there again if I'm in the mood for a little romantic getaway. :D
“Outstanding”
Deer Lodge is only a 3 minute walk to Lake Louise and the second closest hotel to the lake. The rooms are very nice with an all wood decor, great bed, and BEST of all no TV so you can enjoy the outdoors until sunset. The rooftop hot tub is great. The staff are extremley friendly and very accomodating to any request. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Super cool place - very cozy”
This lodge is a real treasure: It is a very nice place to hang out after skiing in Lake Louise, I really enjoyed the old livingrooms one of which has a big fireplace which is always on, there is a gameroom with full-size snooker table, TV, music, etc, there is a nice little bar where one can hang out, a sauna, and an outside hot tub. This is the perfect place for cool snow-boarders and skiiers that don't mind that the paint is a bit old and the rooms aren't super large. The staff is super friendly. Deer Lodge will provide free transportation to/from Lake Louise Ski Resort. I would always go back to Deer Lodge.
“Charming, historic and comfortable getaway in the mountains at Lake Louise!”
Would highly recommend! Deer Lodge is located very close to Lake Louise. You can take advantage of the lake, hiking trails and the Chateau without the huge costs of staying at the Chateau itself. The lodge is a charming and historic setting - with a comfortable and clean accomodations. Also, great restaurant in the lodge. Some persons have commented that there was no tv in the room; however, that is part of the reason why I wanted to stay there. Great place to get away!
“Excellent for the Price!”
We enjoyed out stay very much. This lodge has a newer section where we stayed and the room was very nice. The personnel was great and the place was very clean. We were able to put our cross country skis just outside the lodge or go for a walk to Lake Louise. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes nature and the atmosphere of an old lodge.

“Short but Sweet”
Had a great stay at the Deer Lodge. Very cozy and relaxing. Arrived late and only for one night but would have loved to spend more time. Breakfast was delicious!! Will definitely be back.

wonderful location, near trails and lake. historic lodge setting. they offered us a free room upgrade. The staff are friendly and helpful. Had breakfast and dinners there - the food was fabulous.
