“Perfectly met our needs”
Roomy suite with a beautiful view out bedroom windows. Perfect "backyard" out from bedroom to enjoy the beautiful mornings. Kitchen was a bit dirty, and trains go by often (very close and a little noisy), but other than that, no complains. Will stay again.
“Nice Place for the Price”
We were please with the quality of the room that included a full kitchen. It looked as if it had recently been renovated as it had hardwood floors, gas fireplace and modern appliances. The bed was comfortable and rooms had balconies. Only a couple of draw backs: 1) Small 21" television 2) Some rooms face the railway tracks that have large freight trains running buy regularly. We requested a room on the opposite side. 3) Rooms not facing the railway tracks face the main street. Not too bothersome as this is a pretty quiet town at night. If you do not mind a little noise this is a place you could comfortably stay for several days. Oh, it had great views of the towering Rockie Mountains.
“Very Cute”
This hotel was very easy to find just of the trans-Canada highway. The rooms were very large and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an overnight stop before or after skiing. The only complaint was the large family that stayed in the room above us. They had 4 kids and we could hear everything they did.
“Excellent Value!”
Our family was pleasantly surprised with the dollar value of these accommodations. The decor appeared to have been recently updated & redecorated with tile floor in the kitchen, dining and bathrooms. Our unit faced onto Bow Trail so even with windows open at night, weren't bothered by the passing trains. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this facility.
“yes with cautions”
The rooms and service were excellent and the hot tub was nice, but the hotel is right beside the railway tracks. With the windows closed it was a rumble, with the windows opened it sounded like the train was coming through the room. So, great unless you are on the side of the railway tracks and want the fresh air of an open window.
“Double Anniversary Trip”
This accommodation is perfect for more than one couple. It is more or less an apartment. Everything is provided in the full kitchen and it was nice to be able to stay in and cook breakfast in your pj's. Our only complaint was the cold tile floor, the train was just a few feet away from our bedroom and quiet time was at 10pm. Location is great, the price was fantastic. We would stay here again!
“Great Place”
I was impressed with my stay at the Chalets. I saw in another review that someone had complained about railroad noise, but I didn't hear the trains during the night. The rooms were clean, bright, and I loved that they used Bath and Body Works soaps/lotions.
“Canadian Rockies Chalets - Overal Very Good”
Stayed for a week in mid may. Overal location of the chalets is very good as it is right in the middle of the Bow Valley Trail in Canmore with easy access to Banf national park and Calgary. Size of the 3 bedroom chalets was very big but I would recommned that you get a chalet that faces the main road and not the rail way tracks as trains can run in the middle of the night and are very load. Quality of the chalets are very good with resonable utensils to use if planning to do your own cooking. The chalet I stayed in only had one TV and 4 seats if you are sharing the chalet with more than 4 people then it can be a bit tight in the main living area.
“a good place”
It's good for the price. We rented a 3 bedroom suite for our two families. Clean and functional. The views impressive. Parking spaces are marked very narrow in my opinion and I decided to park my van across the street (hotel staff said ok to do that) and limited for the Easter long weekend. Friendly staff. No free breakfast, no swimming pool though.
“Very nice place, you need to like trains”
It was a great place for a large family but you have to like trains because they run all night long right behind the chalet and can be quite loud with the windows open. The only other thing we wished they would have had cereal bowls available in the otherwise very well equiped kitchen, overall a really nice place to stay.
