“Good value, quite clean and friendly staff”
The location was good, price reasonable, room clean and well appointed. Parking was an additional $5 but there were no parking spots when we got there. We found free parking very close by. We didn't go for breakfast so I can't comment on the continental breakfast.
“Great location!”
The location is great! Once you get there and park your car (in the extremely tight parkade) you can walk to almost everything. The hot tub wasn't very warm and the fitness area is non-existant if you are looking to get a quick work-out in.
“Not impressed”
There were a number of items which discouraged me from considering booking at this hotel again.
“Convinient Location”
I booked a room with a king sized bed, and instead I got a room with two queens, but other than that, the rest of the transaction was smooth sailing. The "gym" consists of two elepticals and a bicyle, so that was disappointing, however it did have a sauna and a hot tub, but it closed earlier than the banff springs, so we went there instead. Underground parking was 5$ a night, I was under the impression that it was included in the stay. There was wireless internet in the rooms which is always nice.
“Perfect Banff Location”
Brewsters is in the prefect location, right in the center of Banff. Especially on the cold days when you don't want to be outside. They have underground parking for $5/nt. They have a delicious continental breakfast included in the room rate with fresh fruit, toast, pastries, cereal, juice, and coffee/tea.
“Very Good Value”
Located just off of Banff Avenue and within walking distance of virtually all ofthe attractions in downtown Banff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend one or more nights in Banff.
“Nice location - Main Street Banff”
The thing I enjoyed most about this hotel was it's convenient location. Located just one block off Banff Avenue, all shops, malls, museums, grocery stores, restaurants and night clubs were within walking distance from the hotel. If you're looking to spend time in the area, this hotel is only a short drive from the Banff Upper Hot Springs and the Banff gondola. The heated underground parking was a bonus, as temperatures were getting cold when we were travelling, although we could have done without the $5/night fee for said parking. The room was large, the jacuzzi was wonderful, and the stand up shower was nice. We were pleasantly surprised with the mini-fridge in the room. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, although it was "touch and go" in the room, and we spoke to other people who were having problems with internet connection as well. The free continental breakfast was standard. I have stayed in Banff and surrounding areas numerous times, and I never vacation to the area with the intention to spend long periods of time in the hotel room. The Brewster's Mountain Lodge served it's purpose as a roof over our heads and bed under our backs while we were in the National Park to explore and enjoy the sights. The staff was great and it really is an excellent location. If you're in the Banff area, I recommend the gondola. It is a must-see on a clear day... The view is unreal! As well, Lake Louise is a sight worth seeing. Hope you enjoy your stay in Banff!
“Great location, great room, great price.”
We stayed one night in a room with a king bed. We stayed our second night at the Fairmont. This room at Brewster's was bigger, better amenities, beds, bathrooms, priced, location, parking ( underground) and continental breakfast than Fairmont. Don't waist your money and stay anywhere else. We would recommend this hotel and can't wait to return. On a side note, the staff are honest. I left an item in our room and did not realize it till the following night, I called the hotel and they had the item for pick up the next morning.
“Good Location- Won't go back unless there's a Deal”
We enjoyed our stay in Banff, but I'm not sure we would go back to Brewsters unless there was a great deal. We have stayed in many different hotels around Banff, and this hotel was just mediocre. By far this was the best location but the overall condition of the hotel, the service, and the breakfast were just average. There is nothing really special about this hotel.
“Would definitely go back to this hotel”
Great location in downtown Banff. The hotel is simple with few frills but it was comfortable and clean & most importantly, the staff was friendly & helpful. The shower pressure left something to be desired but other than that everything was great. Loved our stay, we'd definitely return.
