“reasonable price in convenient location”

few blocks away from banff ave which stays away from busy and noisy yet easy to access to shops and restaurants. clean room although small but has everything needed for a stay. sisters with banff park hotel so free to use hotel's gym, swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. overall, good. river view definitely an add.

“nice hotel near the main strip”

great hotel! staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Kayla at the front desk was great and the hotel was near Main Street.

“Great Place!”

We enjoyed our stay so much! The room was clean and neat and the view of the Bow River out our balcony was breathtaking! Every morning we had coffee on our balcony just admiring the view and scenery. It's a short walk to Banff Ave, but this gives makes it so quite and you feel like your not even in town! I highly recomend staying here...I know we will return!

“Small room with double beds! No queens!”

The room was clean enough but small and cramped. Only had a choice of 2 double beds. Free Internet and location were nice pluses but no breakfast was a negative. Not being on the main street was good since it was quiet.

“Would stay again!”

This hotel is a short walking distance from Banff's main street but is in a quiet location and off the busy part of town which we quite enjoyed. The room was tiny but comfortable and very clean.

“Great location and good access to Banff Park Lodge”

The service at check-in and throughout our stay was great. Although the Bow View Lodge is old, the room was clean and large enough. We had access to the Banff Park Lodge hotel's pool, but unfortunately we did not have time to try it out. We had the buffet breakfast at the Banff Park Lodge hotel; there was a large selection of very good quality food and drink. The location of the Bow View Lodge was great. We had a room with a beautiful view of the Bow River. Shopping was just a block away. We parked our vehicle at the hotel parking lot, so we did not have to pay for parking while we ate and shopped. I would return to this hotel, or try the Banff Park Lodge hotel which seemed to be more up-to-date.

“BEST PLACE TO STAY”

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Banff and so far this is the one I liked the best. It's just West of the main street, but only a short half block away. The location is fairly quiet and secluded. The hotel is tastefully decorated and in good repair. The rooms have been upgraded and look modern, not from the 80's. We loved the private little balconies for smoking and also checking out what was happening downtown. Everything was clean and in good condition. The price was right and we loved it here. Will definitely book here again the next time we come to the mountains. I think they could use a bit more parking in their lot, but there was plenty of extra parking on the street if you missed a spot in the lot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
