“dave”

Room a bit small and tired needs up dating chiped tub missing parts on toliet room very dark noisey over looking lobby. Great free breakfast close to downtown great hotel just bad room will stay again but not in rooms over looking lobby

“Great Breakfast”

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Maybe a 100 yards from the start of the main shopping strip, which is important in Banff as the hotel strip is very long and you can end up a ways away. Nice heated underground free parking as well. The breakfast was the highlight for sure. Great breakfast buffet including a custom omelet guy who made delicious omelets, all included. Highly recommend.

“Great location, clean , comfortable & affordable hotel”

We stayed for one night only on our way from Calgary to Jasper. The hotel is ideally located and just a stroll down the road to the shops, restaurants, etc. The room was very comfortable - bed linen very nice. The only negative comment was the small bathroom. There is free underground parking and a good buffet breakfast. Reception staff were very pleasant & helpful.

Not much of a view from the rooms, but overall was satisfactory place to stay. Great complimentary breakfast with your choice of omelettes.

“Good location”

Good location, room where clean and comfy, in-ground parking garage brings convenience to luggage handling Visitor Center, supermarket and food court are all nearby.. The free breakfast buffet was very noise and limited of choice.

“Great service and location - would stay there again”

The first room we were given was stuffy and dark and had no air conditioning - the window opened onto the car park and there was no privacy with people walking past so we asked for a different room as we were staying 6 nights. They gladly gave us another and also upgraded us to a superior room, which was very nice indeed, at no extra charge. Overall a very good experience!

“Banff Ptarmigan Inn”

For the price you pay you would assume they have central air or something. Walked in the room and saw floor fans. Very hot. Could not open the windows as we were located on the first floor by the rearing parking lot (too noisy). If you need a quick and dirty place to crash this would be the place but the price is a little high.
