“Great place to stay”

Stayed at the Banff Aspen Lodge Nov 12/08, arrived around noon long before check in time, they offered to lock my luggage up and informed me that my room would be first to be done when staffed returned from a luncheon meeting, they called my son so I could speak with him and let him know I had arrived then told me I could wait in the fireplace room which was very nice with newspapers to read, a computer to access if you wished. When I returned my room was ready and was a very generous size, the balcony was huge. The only negative was that the television didn't get good reception, but I wasn't there to watch television anyway. Location was great downtown Banff Avenue, walking distance to shops etc. Well worth the price that I paid, would recommend it to friends and family.

“Great for the price”

This was a great hotel for the price. Hot tubs were very nice and clean. Staff was very good and check in was great. They had already looked at the reservation and had moved us into a King bed with two single bed in a separate area of the room. 2 TV's in the room. I had two teenage kids with me so that was great, they each had a bed and their own TV to share. We walked everywhere in town and it was only 2 blocks from downtown. The buffet room was nice, just very basic food, but it did change a little every day.

Fantastic hotel! Everything has been renovated to have a fresh, modern look. The outdoor courtyard with two hot tubs was incredible. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and even kept the hot tub open later because I checked in so late. Can't wait to come back to this place next time I'm in Alberta!

“Banff Aspen Lodge”

Stayed in the hotel for two nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very tidy and well serviced. The hotel is located close to the main shops in Banff and I thoroughly recommend the hotel. I'm fussy and I would stay again!! Raymond

“Quiet Relaxation”

A pleasant spot right on Banff Avenue, close to pretty well everything in downtown Banff. Walking distance to most of what makes Banff click commercially.

This was a very nice and clean Hotel. Staff were very helpful with directions. The included breakfast was lovely and very filling.

This is where we always stay in Banff. It is close to downtown for ease of walking. The breakfasts are just what we want and the chef even gave me a recipe for his Granola which is worth the trip in itself. We highly recommend this place. Our room had a view and was tastefully decorated and large.

I travel from Calgary to Banff most weekends to ski and have stayed in many of the properties on Banff Ave. This was the best so far. Nice comfortable hotel, great spa area, and a real unexpected pleasure is the lovely breakfast in the morning. Staff so friendly. Really no faults at all.

“Amazing cozy and trendy!”

Hi, my girlfriend and I stayed here for a night for our 5 year anniversary and we both loved the hotel. We stayed in the "Premium" room which overlooks the garden and hot tub(s), which are very very stunning. The staff was excellent, check in time was kept to a minute or so and they were very hopsitable. The location of the hotel is perfect as well, only about 2 blocks from Earls, a popular landmark in the town. The ONLY thing that I thought was not up to par was the rooms need to be upgraded and updated, thats the only lacking thing with the hotel. Other than that I will definitely stay at this hotel again, it was just beautiful!

Excellent service and location Breakfast is lovely and in a pleasant room. Free parking appreciated. Friendly and helpful front desk. Even got a 2 for 1 dinner special for a restaurant down the street.
