“Loved my stay here”
Was only in town for one night, but I was very satisfied with Springhill Suites. For a good price, you get a very nice, clean, and comfortable room. It's in close proximity to downtown, so you can drive there in about 20 minutes instead of paying the price for a downtown hotel. Will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the Baltimore area.

Stayed at Springhill Suites for a Dr. appt at Johns Hopkins. It was Labor Day and Grand Prix Weekend which equals TRAFFIC issues, as Baltimore already has issues due to construction. I had printed 'google' directions and a GPS...but neither could help me through the Grand Prix and construction mess. Upon check-in I asked the young lady checking us in how to get to our destination through the mess. She started to look it up online for me...it was late so I asked if she could print it and leave it for me at the front desk..In the morning I went to the desk and not only had she left directions for me...there were two pages of handwritten directions. These directons enabled us to get to Johns Hopkins avoiding all of the traffic and road closures. The room was spotless and breakfast was a little above average for the inclusive continental breakfasts at hotels. It included sausages and eggs as well as TOGO boxes and bags. We enjoyed the indoor pool...Maryland hotels are required to have lifeguards on duty...this one kept drifting off to sleep..lol. The only down side to this hotel for us was it's location...yes it is close and has easy access to major highways but...there is nothing around but other hotels and 1 McDonald's///no stores...no restaurants. Fortunately we has a rental car...
“McKayla's Brithday Party”
I had my daughter's 10th birthday party at the hotel and everything was great. The staff were great with the girls and teneded to my daughter like she was a princess. I would definately stay again.
“Spring 2011 stay”
Terrific place. Staff was very helpful and proactive. Room was good, work out facility adequate (some cardio machines and a weight machine, no free weights), and the breakfast was good -- fresh and included warm options (meats, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, or waffle). Shuttle picked up at airport and delivered to Amtrak train station the next morning, just as needed. Only down side is there is no resturant or bar in walking distance. The shuttle will take you to the local Marriott which has a resturant and lounge, though. Happy traveling!
