“Nice and cosy”
Checking-in is a breeze. Everything is in order. Nice and warm and spacious room (Room 103 or 113, corner room) with a rustic deco. Very artistic feel. More like home than hotel. Some repair seems to be needed such as the wardrobe and the fridge but I'm just pleasently surprised that they are there in the first place. Many modern hotels don't have those due to space constrait. BTW not for those allergic to cats as Simon the residental cat is very friendly and playful :) I'm missing him already.
“Keyser 77”
A shabbily regal old hotel akin to the apartment building in Rosemarys baby. Funky but chic! loved it!
“Old Baltimor Charme”
Huge rooms with historic flair. Would def go there again!
“Not too satisfited.”
Definitely wasn't what I was used to! Thought it was going to be a lot nicer.
“Poor sound insulation -- bad trip”
I was excited when I walked into a very lavish, welcoming lobby, only to be pointed through a courtyard to an adjacent building that was a bit shabbier. My room smelled like old people, but it was clean and well-furnished, with a TV and fridge, as well as several bureaus and closet space. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. Unfortunately, the walls are super-thin--I could clearly hear people having intercourse from across the hall. Then, some late-night partygoers came in at 1AM and were very loud throughout the wee hours. After talking to them without results, I tried to call the front desk, but nobody ever answered my several calls. The room on its own was great, but only if you're deaf or have some very good earphones. Customer service was so-so. Parking was free on weekends at the nearby hospital.
“Are you sure of this rating?”
This hotel should not be rated better than 2 stars out of 5 at best. Very scary ride on the light rail to get there, then scary walk 2 blocks at night in a mostly abandoned neighborhood. The desk clerk was nice enough, but the room was something out of the 40s or 50s and hasn't been updated since then. The whole room seemed tilted. The bathroom floor was sticky and had a mat that was never washed. i kept my socks on all the time except in the shower. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room had a small stove and refrigerator. The furnishings were more dorm room than hotel room.
“Not Impressed”
I wasn't expecting what was given. My beds were really close together, very motel look and feel. There are 4 floors with creaky steps and no elevator. It reminds me of a hotel in a scary movie. Didn't like it to the point where i decided to cancel my reservation.
“rather have stayed at the bates motel”
after checking in, we were lead to the "annex" building...if this is where you are told, ask for a different room. our room was what you would expect at your grandmother's house...not what we were expecting at all... then we went out to the balcony, which was falling apart. the worst part was the doors did not lock. the desk employee went to the room with me and i showed him that it did not lock, and the door was able to be pushed open and was able to be opened easily from the outside. i have never written a bad review, or a review of a hotel at all...but this one made me want to warn people.
