The cottage was lovely. Well stocked with all the amenities. Everything was there and easy to find. We were very impressed by the food, drink & snack selection. Definitely staying there again and would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway!!

Great location, cute and cosy
Lovely cottage with all the amenities you could need, the breakfast provisions were a lovely touch. Fireplace, comfy sofa and big corner bath tub made for a very cosy stay, our only issue was that the mattress was VERY firm. Great location just outside of Maleney, on the way to Montville.

Highly recommended for couples who want privacy!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bendles - it is the perfect little getaway spot for couples with the privacy of it as well as being amongst nature. The personal touches made it extra special; music playing when we entered the cabin, a basket with basic foods as well as enough in the fridge to see us through breakfast the next day. The cabin itself was perfect for what we needed and the seclusion was just ideal. Waking up to see the cows on the distant hill was incredible, such a beautiful difference from typical city living. We would love to return in winter when we can use the fireplace and have a cooler experience, although the air conditioning saw us through the QLD heat while we were there! A great stay overall, very happy we chose these cottages as our getaway destination.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at Bendles Cottages, there were 5 of s and we took 3 cottages. We thoroughly recommend Bendles, from the minute we arrived until when we left the staff were wonderful. There is everything and more than we expected, just pack your clothes and that is all you need, oh and some wine. We didin't expect to have a breakfast pack waiting for us when we got there, with mre than enough to do us for 2 days. The ambience and the fresh air, was what we needed to have a break from our suburban lives. The cottages are lovely...5/5 for Bendles Thanks Julia and Darren

Great place to stay. A surprise they had bacon, eggs,muffins, cereal supplied free in the room. Room nicely set out with verandah overlooking tree lined pastures. Very quite and peaceful surroundings. For the movie people free Netflix movies and a fire crackling away in the background of your room created a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely coming back to stay again. Thanks for a good time.

A relaxing stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend staying in Downderry Cottage to celebrate my birthday. The cottage was romantic and relaxing indeed. Despite taking our own breakfast, there was a complimentary breakfast provided (eggs, bacon, tomato, muffins and cereals). This was a lovely surprise as it was not mentioned on our booking. We made use of the tennis court, fire place, Nespresso machine, bbq/patio, kitchen (which is fully stocked with all you need) and spa! A relaxing stay indeed. Thank you.

A wonderful 3 night stay.
We loved our stay at Bendles Cottages. The cottage was well equipped. Our breakfast hamper was amazing. The little touches made it special such as the candles and bubble bath for our cottage spa. The pretty gardens and the peaceful surroundings were wonderful. We would love to return one day.

Perfect Weekend Escape
On arrival in the car park we were greeted by bubbly Julia who guided us to the cottage and explained everything to us. Julia was so helpful and kind. I would highly recommend Bendles Cottages for the cleanliness and the whole ambience of the place. The cottages are away from the road so no traffic noise, so peaceful and relaxing. What an interesting location. Adults only made it very peaceful. Just four cabins, each very private. Spacious verandas with invigorating sunrises and and gorgeous sunsets. Superb multi-course breakfast. The serviced was spaced out over 45 minutes.

We had a nice relaxing long weekend. The cottages have everything you need. There is a local Woolies and IGA only 5 mins away and plenty of food options in and around town.The cottages are private and the breakfast out on the porch was wonderful.

A Cosy Stay
As always, a warm welcoming and picturesque setting set the mood for a relaxing stress-free getaway. A soak in a spa, followed by a glass of wine in front of a warm fire; nestled in the hinterlands close to quaint villages and breathtaking scenery, what is not to love.

Bendles Cottages offer a peaceful and picturesque retreat from our busy lives, whatever they may be. All is comfortable and the hosts on hand to make the stay perfect. The story of the origins and development of the gardens add to the special romance of the setting. Highly recommended!

Total peace & rest
So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was so welcoming - clean, homey and there wasn't anything left wanting. The home made biscuits and cup of tea was the perfect way to begin our relaxation. A spa before heading out for dinner (or if we had planned it better we would have ordered dinner in from one of the local restaurants and just enjoyed staying in 'our' cottage). The bed was so comfortable and it was so peaceful, we accidentally slept in till 9am!!! But that was ok as checkout wasn't till 11am so gave us time to leisurely eat our beautiful breakfast - we chose the fresh fruit and local yogurt. I would highly recommend staying here - and next time I think I will organise a mobile masseur to come on our arrival to really make the most of our time.

Mountain Escape
Bendles Cottages is in a beautiful setting only a short drive from the trendy towns of Maleny and Montville. The hosts John and Sue were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy, but due to the amount of rain in the area recently there was a musty, damp smell in the room, probably from the repeated condensation and a leak in the flue in the room. For breakfast you have a choice of light to large, as well as the morning paper, which was a bonus. We chose a fruit plater, bacon and eggs and toast with vegemite and marmalade. It was delivered to our room by John who set up our table on the deck, then came back later to clear it all away. The shower had good water pressure, but as it was over the spa bath with no screen so the water tended to spray everywhere. The bed was comfortable, but again the pillows were just not right for me.
