“A perfect stay !”
A very nice stay with private a pool and garden.
“Nice quiet and relaxing after Kuta and Legian”
Great place to stay if you want some peace and quiet, price of rooms was very good too I thought. Free internet, nice swimming pools! Incredible views from the 6th floor rooftop restaurant!!!
“Disappointing accommodation”
My family (2 adults, 2 small children) only stayed at this hotel for one night so we didn't stay long enough to really experience the full extent of this hotel. However, the following is my impression of what we did experience: 1. Despite calling in advance from Australia to book a transfer from the airport to the hotel, there was no one to meet us when we arrived and reception had no record of the arrangement. 2. The hotel restaurant was closed on New Years Eve (the only night we were staying) for a private function, but we weren't informed of this until we arrived in the evening. 3. There didn't appear to be any eateries or other shops within walking distance of the hotel. 4. The hotel's beach is not close enough to comfortably walk to and the hotels transport only went between the two locations infrequently. 5. The quality of food from room service was poor. 6. The staff were very friendly and helpful 7. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well maintained. 8. The quality of the breakfast and the service during breakfast was below standard for a 4 star hotel. Overall, it wasn't a bad place and we were happy just to be in Bali and have such a comfortable room. But for the price and the 4 star rating this hotel has I would have expected more and the location was not good at all compared to other places we stayed.
“Nice Hotel, but too far out of nusa dua”
First impressions of the hotel is it is quite out of the way, which is great if you just want a quiet retreat. Pros MASSIVE rooms for the suite, includes kitchen with cooktop and decent sized fridge. Great View if you are in one of the exterior rooms. Two airconditioners to keep the rooms at a nice temp, and 2 tv's with foxtel (indonesian subs) The room has a large en suite with a spacious shower, and a 2 person bath/spa, all encased in floor to ceiling polished tiles. good wifi in rooms Upstairs has a lovely pool with a great view on the 6th floor, the main floor has a segmented pool, which is very reasonably sized. Free shuttle to Kuta or nusa dua - comes with a catch (see cons) Cons The shuttles (6 person van) that are running are odd times, and not enough space for the amount of guests, you need to book more than a day ahead contrary to the sign, as it fills up too fast. The last shuttle returns from kuta at 645, too early! and shuttles in are 1030 2 and 6. Infact we got left behind when we arrived at 6:30 it had left without us 15 mins despite having booked it. VERY POOR SERVICE! Costing us a cab trip back! Most of the time we were there we were unable to use the shuttle because it was booked. Would not kill them to invest in Swissbel Bay hotel signs for driver! No safe in the Room Hotel Menu more pricey than other areas stayed at. Breakfast limited Not really in Nusa Dua, LONG walk to any beach or action if you have no shuttle!
“Beautiful Hotel but that's about it!”
I want to start with the positive things first, the hotel was beautiful. Very modern. The room may have been one of the nicer rooms that we have stayed in before.The hotel staff was friendly. I would not consider a 4 star hotel other than the rooms and the way the hotel 'looked'. They have one restaurant and it was worse than mediocre! The daily breakfast was EXACTLY the same every day for 11 days. It was cold and seriously lacked any real choices. Because they put out things in small dishes, they were always empty and you had to ask someone to refill them and that could take some time, coffee included. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel, 3 yes, 4,absolutely not! The view that they claim was 'exquisite' was FAR from that description. The view was great from the roof and after that, you are looking into some sketchy areas, especially if you have a room that is not poolside. Our original room overlooked, what looked like a dump and we asked to be moved. They didn't have a convenience store or anything else for that matter. 50% or more of the rooms were under renovation and the fitness center that they claimed to have was non existent. If you wanted to go anywhere, you could not walk there, you HAD to take a taxi or one of the 3 shuttles per day. You are NOWHERE near the beach or anything else for that matter. If you decide to stay here, consider yourself warned and ask to stay in any of the poolside rooms. That fact alone, made our stay there OK and not terrible.
