“Perfect couples retreat”
My husband & I recently stayed at the Royal Kamuela Villas in Ubud for 6 nights for our 20th Wedding Anniversary & enjoyed every moment. Everything about these villas is immaculate. From the quietly secluded but convenient location to the excellent service from friendly but professional staff, there is nothing to fault here. The villas are very spacious & luxuriously fitted out with your own pool, sun deck, gazebo, spa, indoor & outdoor shower & kitchenette/dining area so you are left wanting for nothing. Your privacy is never invaded whether it is to do with the making up of your room or to the personal touch of the turn down service in the evening. Breakfast of your choice & a complimentary afternoon tea can be served in the privacy of your villa or you can choose to eat in the centrally located coffee shop. The main streets of Ubud are all within easy walking distance so restaurants & shopping are all at your convenience. Being very close to the monkey forest you can sometimes be visited by guests of a furry nature, but this only adds to the charm of your surroundings. These villas are the perfect luxurious getaway for couples wanting some private time out & we would highly recommend a stay at a Royal Kamuela Villa. You will not be disappointed.
“Romantic Villa Stay”
My husband and I recently stayed 3 nts at the Royal Kamuela villas in Ubud on Monkey Forest Road. This location made it easy to walk around the centre of Ubud - these villas were only 3 mths old with an beautiful secluded garden and lge private pool. The huge bathroom had a 2 person spa bath and a separate rain shower. The bedroom with it's King sized bed was light and airy - a huge window over looked the garden which lite up at night , and the pool lapped at it's edges - truly magnificant. Other special little touches like the home baked cookies, which we found every day placed in our lovely out door kitchen area. We had daily breakfasts, which could be served at the cafe or in our villa, these were also of a high standard. We enjoyed the river flowing near the villa Cafe and the visit by the monkeys passing thru to the near by forest. - Nothing was any trouble for our butler Wahyu who greeted us every day with his warm smile and attentive manner - we welcomed his daily enquiries on what we had planned for the day and could he help with any arrangements, he certainly made our stay effortless and trouble free.. The use of the Hotel free shuttle service was a wonderful addition - and assisted us with visiting the Art Museum. This would have to be our best Bali experience yet and we highly recommend the Royal Kameula Villas.
“Le Royal Kamuela à ubud au pied de la forêt Monkeys et la rue très commerçante”
Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins, il ne parle pas le français, mais avec un anglais moyen on arrive a se faire comprendre. Les villas sont superbes, comme sur les photos, la piscine est très agrèable, la chambre spacieuse, le salon à l'exterieur est sympa, la salle de bain rien à dire et le petit déjeuner est très copieux qui peut être servie dans la villa. Le thé est offert tous les jours avec une petite collation. L'hotel vous propose des massages sur place ou à l'exterieur, un chauffeur sur place est disponible pour vous emmener dans les alentours. L'hôtel vous proposera plusieurs activités afin d'aménager vos journées. Idéal pour un voyage de Noce.Par contre petit bémol sur la ponctualité des services du petit déjeuner, rien de bien méchant. On vous recommande fortement cette hôtel.
“More than met expectations”
We stayed in a Villa at the Royal Kameula Villas in the heart of Ubud and it was an amazing experience. We knew the place would be nice, but it more than met our expectations. The room was beautiful with a huge bed (lovely linen) (turned down every evening), massive bathroom and a gorgeous view over our large private pool and gondola. We even saw a monkey! I think Villa's 11 (which we were in) and 12 are the only two with a gondola. They are also the furthest from reception so are nice and quiet (not that there's much noise around and there are no children allowed). Our breakfast was delivered on time every morning and was very tasty. The staff were very helpful and booked most of our activities which were fantastic. We received complimentary foot massages which were so good we booked a couples 'indulgence' package. If you use the spa, ask for Lina, she's the best. It's located in the heart of Ubud and you can walk pretty much anywhere from here (although the Balinese seem to think you need to get a taxi just about anywhere). Oh and enjoy the welcome drink, it's delicious! One small point, while we were there the alcohol license was still pending. I know the resort is very new so that may be the case for a while, but maybe check before you book if it's important to you. (We just bought wine back to our room). Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would highly recommend it!

Excellent service from a very friendly bunch of staff who ensured our stay there was comfortable. Our villa was very clean and tidy with all the necessary amenities. The staff were very helpful and the food was really good.
“Luxury in Paradise.”
I have just returned from a two week holiday in Bali and the most memorable part was my stay at the Royal Kamuela Villas. The accommodation and service was second to none! The privacy and atmosphere of having your own villa with pool made our time there very special in deed! Thanks to Arni and all the staff - we will return for sure!!!

Had a fantastic Holiday and thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Royal Kamuela Resort in Ubud. Staff were friendly and very helpfull. We were not wanting for anything. Breakfast each morning and afternoon tea were a pleasant surprise and have no complaints about the food or the service each day. What you see in the picture is what you get. We will definitely be going back for another stay in the future.
“Great villas and great staff!”
This hotel is lovely. 12 individual villas, very private and quite. The breakfasts are o.k, but everything else excellent. Always ready to help.
