Was in Bali killing time waiting out a visa grant. Staff cordial, not overly friendly as compared to my previous (lower quality) accom. Place was nice, sterile but in a visually pleasing sort of way.
Auditory privacy good - I never heard other guests. However, windows overlooking the pool meant pool soundtrack all day + pool noises. Bed is close to the window, there is no desk/chair, so guests can easily see into your room unless you cut off your own sunlight (blackout shades).
Bathroom complaints are a result of the toilet and shower being in an enclosure with a door that rolls shut. Doesn't feel very private if you are sharing a hotel room, and if your partner is in the shower, no toilet for you! Was no problem for me.
Breakfast was okay - rice portions, carrots with bits of chicken, soup, and fried noodles. Crustless white bread, margarine, and jelly syrup. Weak coffee and tea. Breakfast hours quite strictly enforced.
Aircon kept getting stuck "on" in my room - unresponsive to the remote, despite remote interface indicating plenty of battery power.
They wanted half-a-day's rates for late checkout, a stay of a max of an extra six hours. On checkout day, I chose to leave at the normal time, but staff came to my door three times in two hours to ask if I might be ready to leave yet.
Located a few hundred meters to shops/restuarants/etc. but road/path is terrible (others said "scary") in one direction. Distance did get a bit tiresome after my 4th+ trip out.
