Nice oasis
Nice resort consisting of villas in a nice green setting. The pool is nice and large, the gym is pretty good too. Rooms are spacious along with outdoor area. Staff is very helpful. Wifi is working well. A bonus is a nearby modern Thai restaurant with truly amazing selection of super tasty dishes.

Great Value for $$$$$
Such a beautiful hotel just out of the heart of Seminyak. Staff were very welcoming and greeted us with a smile every morning. Its about a 10 minute walk from the main section of Seminyak, but is surrounded by local cuisines, convienience stores and great restaurants. Pool area was very clean and perfect for a nice quiet afternoon. Overall we had a very positive experience here and would return.

Good Location for this Hotel.
When I arrived at the hotel it was all warm smiles from the staff and welcoming drink too. Check in was quick and the staff pick up the bags I follow to my room. The room was very nice air con was cold. But it's easy to adjust the temperature. As you just walk into the room they have outdoor sitting area which is great when you want to relax and read a book. Now they have mosquito problem. But don't worry just ask the staff and they setup the mosq repellent coil. Inside the room bed is big and clean. They have coffee and tea which free. Small mini bar with soft drinks and Bintang. Of course. Lol. The bathroom is big lots of space and it's clean. The pool area is good size but I have notice guests throw there towel on the sunbed and walk away. There only 6 sun beds. Anyway they have day spa massage which is good price at the front of hotel where they serve breakfast, Lunch and dinner. All at a good price.

Good value but far from the beach and central
In a quite location outnofntown but close to most of the amazing restaurants. 30 mins walk to the beach and central seminyak square or 5 mins costing 29/30,000 irp in a taxi.

My only complaint would be they need to change the breakfast menu and ensure their breakfast fruit is fresh, otherwise, really enjoyed our stay, especially in the pool.

Wonderful hotel with great pool
We loved our stay at Ivory Resort. Our room was a good size and the outdoor sitting area was a wonderful place to relax. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool was awesome. Only downside, the continental breakfast was just okay - not great. Go for the other breakfast options. They are much better.

Balinese Hotel with the Best Service
The Ivory is superb. The hotel is beautiful and maintained so well. The staff is really trained well and can help with anything. We wanted to get a driver for some day trips and the one we had has great. The breakfast is fantastic, swimming pool beautiful and very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know

A comfortable hotel but showing its age
With a little more effort this could be a really good hotel. It is hard to say anything was very wrong but with just a little bit of extra effort things could be so much better. The staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful but were let down by what they had to work with. Thing were clean but tired looking and past their best. The food was very good but was spoilt by the environment, just a few flowers or a screen to hide the road would have made all the difference to the restaurant.. Ir was good value for money and I have no real complaints.

I chose Ivory based on the reviews but upon arrival I found the staff very unwelcoming and Lazy. This was my second leg of Bali trip and i was dissappointed choosing Ivory. Rooms are fine but had lots of mosquitoes. Only positive was we could rent a motorbike onsite.

Amazing! Would recommend to anyone!
The Ivory Resort was the first of 4 hotels we staying with in Bali, even though it wasn't the most expensive place we stayed, we thought it was the best!! Close to everything in Seminyak, wonderful staff, we had an amazing massage, perfect room. It held a real energy and likeable vibe. Would highly recommend to any of our friends!!

Gorgeous Little Boutique Hotel
I recently stayed here with a friend who left a few days before myself. Nothing was too hard for the staff, they were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was traditional and cute. The pool was big and clean with enough beds to accommodate the guests. Outside the rooms were little fountains that created a really peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant was well prices ($3.00 - $4.00 Australian for a meal!) and tasty. The day beds in the private courtyard outside the doors were huge and a nice place to relax and smell the incense. The room itself was very cool with excellent airconditioning and a huge king sized, comfy bed. The bathroom was big and clean with a waterfall shower head. With a well priced supermarket directly across the road full of everything you need, including aussie and American staples and an ATM everything was very easy! The W hotel, Mera Putih restaurant (this is a must visit), Revolver café and Potato Head all within walking distance, I found this location perfect! thank you Ivory, I loved my stay and will definitely be back.

Nice hotel close to Seminyak Square.
This is a lovely quiet hotel with a day bed outside each room which could be kept private as there are wooden blinds which can be put down. Rooms were spacious and clean as was bathroom. The pool was nice however the area is quite small with only about 8 sunbeds (we were a group of 6) so mostly had to share to allow others access. The staff were very friendly and helpful and keep the grounds immaculate. The food was good but the breakfast not great. The only aspect we did not like were the Time Share reps who sit adjacent to the pool smoking! It felt a bit intimidating although they didn't really bother us.

Quiet , peaceful and great value
I've looked at this hotel for a long time and finally tried it out for a night before heading to Gianyar . It didn't disappoint . Excellent all round. Comfy bed, beautiful entry courtyard and huge day bed , peaceful , really smartly laid out room , lovely breakfast and great staff. Lovely pool too. On Jl Petitenget with supermarket across the road and Nirwana Snack for a yum , cheap and fresh meal or walk to the many other restaurants and cafes. Quick cab ride to eat street or Batu belie beach. I will be staying here in future .

Amazing rooms with nice patios. Staff were lovely and helpful. We decided late at night to travel to The Gili Islands the following morning. Reception staff arranged for tour desk operator to come in after hours to accommodate us. All staff say hello when you walk past. Will definately reccommend and return

Great stay ! Room is great but Hotel is a bit far away so had to take a taxi everywhere but it is not a bad place to stay in and relax, quiet and great food, friendly staff. Can't make coffee but only tried once. Loved the pool where I could do a few laps. Great value for money !

We stayed for 5 nights at this amazing little place. The staff were so incredible, the rooms were cosy and lovely and the pool and access were amazing!! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning!!

This hotel is a serious find that I will recommend heartily to others, and want to book the next time I need to be in this area of Bali. Everything hotel-wise was excellent, the spa was mediocre, but one can find excellent treatments around the area outside the hotel property. Highly highly recommend.

Great little place.
Good location with lots of nice restaurants around, Metis Sardine, Mamasan. Rooms are quiet and located back off the road. Room was cleaned well. Bed was comfortable, air con worked and was quiet and bathroom was big and clean. Was great value for what i paid per night.

Love this hotel
This is our 3rd time at the Ivory and it doesn't dissapoint. It's not a luxury hotel so we do get what you pay for but you have everything that you need. It's in a great location close to amazing restutants but not on the main street that can be very loud and noisy.

Always a lovely stay
This would be my third time staying at this Resort and it is lovely! Clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Rooms very spacious, staff very friendly, hostel cleanliness is great and overall would definately recommened this place to anyone whether your travelling alone or as a couple. Location is great too, away from Seminyak square but still close to some really nice shops and restaurants and my favourite.. the street food!!

Great driver!!
We were disappointed in the location of this resort and the coffee was bad. However, the people were wonderful, great spa staff. The best part of this resort was our driver, Djaya Kadek. This wonderful man took excellent care of us for our whole trip, made a good trip GREAT!!

Blissful relaxing holiday
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights. We had paid so little for the room that we really weren't expecting much, we were in complete shock when we arrived at the hotel! The lobby is beautiful with its bright coloured sofas and floating petals, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. On the way to our room we passed the pool which was crystal clear and surrounded by trees and plants. We arrived at our room to find a little water feature at the door, a little veranda with a sofa and an absolutely beautiful room. The bed was so big and comfy and there was a flat screen tv with lots of channels and a DVD player. The bathroom had a large shower head which I loved! By far the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in! We got a couples massage when we arrived and it was just wonderful and very reasonably priced. The location is great as it is away from the noise of the Kuta and Legion nightlife, but if you want to go there a taxi costs between 2 to 5 dollars. The only TINY negative aspect of our stay here was that taxi drivers often didnt know where it was, but we brought a print out of the address with us and had no problems after that. A fantastic hotel with fantastic staff, I would recommend it to anyone!

I fully enjoyed my stay here - location is perfect and central, easy to get taxis, and for the price you are paying in this neighborhood (and the comfort you get), its definitely worth it. The problems areas are in the restaurant, and front desk - phone never seems to work, man seems half asleep, and there was an issue when checking in because they hadn't receive hotels.com confirmation, didn't know what to do, asked us to call, etc.

We spent a long weekend in Bali arriving on a late flight on a Thursday night and flying back home on a Monday. We opted for the Ivory resort as the description mentioned it was an adults only resort. We were 2 middle aged women travelling for a brief break and a quiet pool appealed to us. We called ahead to organise an airport transfer and also advise that we would be booking in after midnight. We were met at the airport by a nice young man holding a sign with my name on it and driven back to the resort. Its not far from some of the best restaurants in Seminyak, both Sarong and Potato head are within walking distance although it is a road verge walk. There 5 mini mart type stores within metres of the front door and some coffee shops nearby. Semiyak Square is a short taxi drive away about 12000IDR although we obviously looked like tourists and got charged 120000IDR by one taxi driver only to realise our erro with the zero's afterwards. The rooms are clean and neat and the beds comfortable, the decor is nice but just beginning to get a tiny bit tired. Each room is entered via a small courtyard that can be closed off by a rattan blind and some external doors and its furnished with an amazing day bed which is great to snooze and read a book on. I really enjoyed my stay here and would consider returning.

Small, clean hotel with good staff.
Nice hotel easy reach of anywhere we wanted to go. Courtesy bus to Seminyak Square. The on site spa was expensive in comparison to walking directly across the road for the same treatment and the prices were non negotiable despite the fact there was never anyone using it. Breakfast was good in a lovely little breakfast room. Shower was not working when we first arrived, as soon as we reported it someone came along to fix it. Would definately stay again.

The hotel consist of many bungalows with an awesome design and a cute outside space with a couch for each bungalow. The breakfast is not much to choose from, but you can order omeletts and thats all i need for breakfast. There is a small pool and tanning area which is nice. The hotel is located a little outside of seminyak. You will need a taxi to go shopping. The hotel is definetly worth a visit

The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent.The property is well maintained and the beds were comfortable.The pool is beautiful and so are the gardens.We would stay there again.I know they get a lot of repeat business which comes as no surprise.Excellent value for money.Couldn't understand why they didn't upgrade as their two suites were empty for the duration of our stay???? That is my only criticism.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in efficient and quick. Did not need to pick us up from airport but agreed to drop us off instead! Offered 15 minute massage for two, however would not allow one person to claim the other's. Overall excellent hotel for good value.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Ivory for 4 nights. The room was comfortable and spacious and more than what we expected for the rate we paid. The staff are friendly and helpful and the grounds and gardens are lovely. We found the Ivory to be quiet and comfortable. We would definitely recommend it to family and friends visiting Bali as a worthwhile and good value hotel to stay at.

Extremely peaceful.
There are lots of little things you could grumble about, such as the lack of hot water at times, and the fridges are not very cold. However, Ivory's greatest attributes are the peace and quiet, and the fabulous bedding. We were upgraded to a family unit which was just awesome and right by the pool, so we were obviously delighted. There are only 20 rooms so Ivory is quite a boutique little place. If you are ragers, or have noisy kids, do everyone a favour and leave the place to the guests, like us, seeking some peace and serenity! DO NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST as it is served at the Flap Jack's within the hotel - not a good enough selection. INSTEAD, nip across the road to Pepito's and get all the pastries, juices and fruit you could imagine and have yourself a banquet! There is a very proficient female deep tissue masseuse in the spa, but the male masseuses are pretty average. The staff overall were just GREAT. It was great to have a DVD player and CD stereo!!! We had a microwave as well which makes life so easy, but not sure if the standard rooms have them. The pool was clean and good for swimming laps. The Flap Jacks staff will always give you ice if you take something with you to put it in.
