“Positive suprise!”
This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. We had a lovely room with a gorgeous view over lush greenery. Both pools were beautifully tugged in the gardens. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast & other meals were also pleasing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not use the spa services - we put off by prices in US$ and found a nice spa close by with fraction of the prices. Overall this was a fabulous experience and we will be coming back. Tried to make a deal for an extra night: expected a better price for the 7th consequtive night but they offered me a worse deal than the first six (which I booked via Expedia).

“A great place to stay”
This hotel was our first hotel in Bali, and we were more than satisfied. The location was quiet, and yet you could walk into the town of Ubud easily. There is also a hotel shuttle available to drive you into the town and to the Monkey Forest. Getting a massage outside listening to the river gurgling was the best sensation. I went with my husband and it was like a second honeymoon, but I could also come with my children. All around a very satisfying place.
“Beautiful Hotel”
The hotel was beautiful, and I would likely recommend it. The air conditioning, however, did not keep the room cool and there were NO amenities like a safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, easily accessible ice. The massage services were not great compared to home, but the spa was in a beautiful setting. The front desk was not helpful reconfirming air tickets. They told me to do it myself and gave me the wrong telephone number. Taxis booked through the hotel are about twice the cost of booking directly with drivers.

“A fine hotel”
Tjampuhan is really a quite lovely hotel, meticulously tended to and well-kept up. It's a perfect distance from the center of Ubud, walkable yet not too close, and is tucked into a valley where two rivers meet, which makes for a pretty picturesque view. The rooms themselves are nice and clean enough, though not very private. We heard everything that went on in the adjoining room (I think I learned some Dutch by the end of our stay), and I'm sure our neighbors did, too ... which can be embarrassing. The bathrooms also could use a bit of renovation. For an upscale hotel, these were a little dim and drab. Still, a fine hotel.
“A beautiful setting and great service”
The Hotel Tjampuhan is an oasis and a place i would return to. The bedrooms are a little tired and need a spruce up but overall it was a magical place with fantastic service. The setting is stunning and the spa really special. i would recommend this hotel.

- Only certain of area can access wifi. - Could just spend a day inside the hotel like a resort base.

Le site est magnifique et la situation de l'hotel combine la proximité avec le centre d'Ubud (15mn à pied ou service de navettes gratuites) et les plus proches rizieres Les chambres ont une ambiance un peu surannée tout en restant confortable. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant ni le spa Un petit bemol pour le service et la qualité du personnel du front desk : faible réactivité dans le traitement des demandes, personnel insistant pour proposer des prestations hors hotel de type spectacle ou transport
