“First time in Bali - Great!”
We stayed at 2 bedroom villa with private swimming pool. Although villas were rather old but overall very satisfactory. We had a few problems such as toilet, air conditioner but as soon as we asked them to fix it, someone came to fix them straight away, we didn't have to wait. The couch might be a little problem for someone, because of a wooden frame my husband needed a lot of cusions to sit on. Apart from that staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic, private swimming pool was something special, shower room upstairs was awesome. Seminyak is an upmarket area compare to Kuta, Legian area. I would recommend this area to families, nice and quiet but not too far from Kuta, Legian's hustle and bustle. Taxi cost me only a couple of dollars.
“great place to stay quiet”
Hotel staff were great they bent o er backwards to help us as it was our first trip to Bali.they helped us by organizing trips and cars .our room was great and comfortable.some of the other parts need updating which they had started to do while we were there at no disturbance to us.would go back .
“Thank goodness for affordable luxury”
I stayed here after spending one night at a hovel. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and my room was incredible. My wife found it online for me and we weren't sure what it would be like, but all the reviews were true. It is convienently located near restaurants, the rooms are spacious, the pools incredible. Nothing is too difficult for the staff, the wi-fi is good and the restaurant is also good. I'll be staying there again next time. Can't rate it highly enough.
“Fantastic”
We enjoyed a great four-night break at Desamuda. The three bedroom villa was fantastic. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable and private holiday.
“Clean Personal Hotel”
We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 6. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool and loved it. The pool is only small, but the resort has 2 large pools that the kids loved. Our rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily as well as the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and happy to help in anyway they can. We used the suttle bus and the staff were happy to drop us off anywhere - ie waterbom park or the airport on the way home. The resort is only very small and quiet - so don't compare it to a large resort with kids club. This is a totally different experience. We'll definitely be going back.
“Perfect For Honeymooners!”
We couldn't be happier with our stay here! From the staff, to the breakfast, to the villa itself everything was impeccable! The front staff were more than happy to arrange tours for us and happily took us to get money changed. They also arranged a free shuttle to the airport when we left. The breakfast offered a huge range of options and everything was delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food there was also delicious and great value for money. The villa was amazing! We had a one bedroom with a private pool and it exceded my expectations! The only downside of the whole experience was the renovations happening but that's just a minor detail that didn't bother us really. I would love to stay at Desamuda again. Hopefully we will be back soon!
“Beautiful Seminyak villa experience”
This was my second trip to Bali and my partners first. We booked Desamuda after a recommendation by a friend. We were not disappointed. The staff were always happy, polite and extremely friendly. There was never a problem getting transport (free) in the hotel van. The room was spotless and cleaned daily as was the pool. The only improvement I would suggest would be a better range of cereal and yoghurt for the breakfast buffet but what was offered, especially the eggs, was lovely. I have only been back one day and am considering booking again, same place, for next year. Absolutely happy to recommend this to anyone.

Desamuda village exceeded our expectations. The villas are beautiful. The staff were very helpful. Desamuda village was a quiet haven right near the busy shopping and eating district.

Our stay at Desamuda Village was very positive. The staff was very attentive and courteous, the location was very convenient, and the facilities were outstanding. We travelled as (2) couples with (4) children and this location was perfect for us.
“A beautiful oasis in the middle of chaos.”
This hotel is a surprise after driving down the busy street. Everything is lush and quiet. We had a one bedroom villa (without a pool) upstairs. Very large space for the money. The pool was a nice place to relax and have some drinks. Breakfast was different each day (provided) and the staff were very friendly, even helped with some local language lessons! We would definitely go back. Will stay in the 3bedroom villa (amazing!) with our children.
