The room was very hot and stuffy when we arrived. There were dirty towels in the bathroom from a previous guest. The views were amazing and the staff was super friendly. Nice breakfast with beautiful views. Great location and free parking. Wifi worked well. Overall I would probably stay again.

Nice hotel in a good location. Good breakfast too. Our stay was spoiled by the fact that the sofa bed for our daughter was not made up, and no bedding left in the room. On returning to the hotel at 11.30pm ready for bed, we noticed this when unpacking the sofa bed. Advised night staff, who were clueless. Took them a full HOUR to find some bedding!! Would stay again, but would make a point of checking the room for everything needed before night staff start shift. Day staff were efficient and helpful.

Great hotel
The hotel is very well run. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Hotel staff were particularly helpful. The only area for improvement would be to make the electronic devices in the room more user friendly especially the lights and the TV.

I loved the view out of the window and the sound of the river. The architecture is much more interesting to me than the common and better known square buildings and "boxes". It's probably an "older" building very well kept. And the really old beech in the center of the property is magnificent.

The hotel was very good, and we would stay there again, but we wish the beds were a bit less hard.....seems to be a European thing, but our backs are not used to it. We turned the heater off at night and opened the window, (there is some road noise) but warm air softly blows into the room through a vent, so the room never really got cool enough at night. We had no other issues with the hotel and liked it. The room was definitely spacious enough, esp. for European standards.

Nice room with extra space. The room has heat but no air conditioner, and even though cold outside, room was extra hot and hard to cool down. But overall nice, roomy, and clean. Breakfast VERY nice.

Very modern
This hotel was an easy walk from the train station, approx. 10 minutes on level terrain. Staff was professional and pleasant. Breakfast was standard European selection. The only thing we did not like was the ultra modern design with the bathtub in the centre of the room and open wall with no privacy for using the bathroom. We were upgraded to this more modern room, so it was unexpected. Other than that, this hotel met all expectations and we had a pleasant one night stay.

The hotel is very pleasant and the room very nice, European style, but as there is no air conditioning (typical for Europe) and we stayed there during a very warm night, so we had to run a fan that was provided to try to generate some air circulation - not a perfect solution by any means. Breakfast was excellent and onsite parking fairly priced. Good location.

Stopover hotel
We used the hotel as a stopover on the way to Austria skiing. Excellent hotel with a nice clean spacious room. Parking underneath. Good food and friendly staff.

Business Hotel in old Baden, Switzerland
A new, business-type hotel very conveniently located near the train station and within an easy walk to the local sights of Baden. The front desk staff is multilingual and very helpful. The attached restaurant, where breakfast is served, is somewhat limited in its dinner menu, but the food is tasty and the facility is clean. The adjacent Langmat Art Museum is a real treasure!

Nice 4-star hotel
Very nice hotel. We booked twin bedroom by mistake. They were able to upgrade us to a double bedroom as there is available. Nice friendly reception. Great condition both main area, parking lot, and room. Recommended.

Good Hotel but with high additional costs
I stayed in this Hotel between Christmas and New Year. The hotel facility is nice and within walking distances to all amenities. The Price for this category is ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful Even though the meals taste very good, a clear disadvantage are the high prices for meals including the breakfast buffet. In addition to that, you have to pay for the garage and this price is also way to high. Switzerland is expansive, I knew that, but this has been more than I expected.

We happened to arrive the hottest day of the year to a non air conditioning hotel, so we were quite uncomfortable with the temps being close to 39/40 degrees Celsius. Location was fine, buffet breakfast was acceptable.

As we do not have a classic air conditioning in the rooms but a regular cooling system, we try to satify our guests during these hot days with additional fans or changing the room. As it is rather seldom that we have such high temperatures in Switzerland we try to solve the situation in that way but we are always thinking how to solve the situation in another way. Good hotel - near train station and other eateries - don't miss the Beer Garten just about a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Hotel.

Lovely hotel within minutes of the center
This was my second stay at Hotel du Parc (on business) and my room was even nicer than before. The staff were all really helpful and polite, the restaurant downstairs is fantastic and it was no more than a 5-minute walk to the train station. Brilliant!

Hotel Du Park is an excellent value in Baden
Our room was the most spacious and comfortable of our 2 week stay in Switzerland. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The buffet breakfast was good and included in price of room. The location is excellent; 10 minute walk to train/bus station and 15 minutes to old town. Hotel is located on a bluff above the river and there is a nice walking trail accessable.

Near train station but needs updating
The room was very dated and not completely clean. I did not give this rating based on lack of air conditioning, since I know that is a luxury in older hotels in Europe, but it was unbearably hot to sleep here. On the plus side, its very close walking distance to the train station.

Dear Anne, thank you very much for your inputs regarding your recent stay at our property. It seriously helps us to optimize our service. You are correct, our hotel has no classic air conditioning in the rooms but a regular cooling system. Additionally we provide our guests a fan in each room. Not nice surprise
We booked this hotel,because if the nice pictures there are on the website, but when we arrived: surprise! it was not at all like the pictures, the hall is really nice but when we arrived in our room: old moquette instead of parquet, old furniture not looking at all like in the picture, couch with a hole... horrible! but we were so tired that we decided to stay there... Bad decision! We took a shower, the doors didn't close, so you have cold air that come in... And then we go to bed: horrible suprise, the cushin was not so comfortable, but the blanket!!! it stayed just flat, you can move it as long as you what it stay flat. So you sleep (or not at all) with the cold air that comes on your front as well at the back! So it didn't worth what we payed. The cherry on the top, they say that taxes are included, but they add 5chf for citytax. The only thing we really appreciated was the restaurant, really nice, really good food.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel, well located several blocks from bahnhof. Friendly and attentive reception staff and entire hotel staff. The beautiful breakfast buffet is a real plus. Parking is extra at a covered garage downstairs in the building. The big fruit bowl is always welcome.
