This is an Expedia VIP property… but I’m not sure how. I woke up with bites on my legs. My legs are now swollen. The temperature in our room was very high and we couldn’t control it. The bathroom was very basic. When we sat on the toilet, the seat would close on you so it rested on your back whilst on the toilet. Breakfast was the worst. We arrived just before 9 and it was just leftovers. After much persuasion they managed to microwave a couple more sausages so we could eat something. I knew it was microwaved because of the pinging when it was cooked. We had a small cockroach walking along the table when we were eating. It was at that point we left breakfast and ate elsewhere. This place was just too dirty to operate as a hotel.

It was a decent place but with no AC or pool or anything to do at the property. Rooms slept 5 but very small overall. The included breakfast was nice.

The hotel is lovely, tho a little tired, and well situated. Comfortable beds,& very quiet. My only gripe is that the amenities listed aren’t actually part of the hotel, but are amenities within the town,& therefore require extra cost. So.. there is no indoor/ outdoor pool. This is located at the thermal bath (highly recommend btw), & the tennis courts are a 15 min walk away,& cost 26chf/hr to use. Which is not bad value for Switzerland!

Rather old building. Strange electric wiring. Bed lights turn on, when the bathroom fan kicks in. Staff doesn't speak german very well, but is still friendly.

Not the best experience
We were not allowed to check in at 10:15 pm, even though we messaged them that we are driving into the town. There was a gentleman from hotel just working/ cleaning away and completely ignored us and didn’t even open the hotel door.

Breakfast was great in the hotel's cute restaurant. Room was adequate. Location was beautiful. The town was oddly shut down in the first week of March, so restaurants were limited and expensive. Staff only spoke German.

It is in a quite place of the city and very close to the river. We had just stayed one night but planning to stay more in the future for walking to the mountains so close to the hotel. The owner and the staff were lovely.

Full delicious wonderful breakfast, very clean room, clean, comfortable room, big bathroom, good shower and big liquid soap and shampoo. Nicest owner of the hotel at the reception. Wonderful hotel very close to Termina Thermal Water and Spa. During daytime, bus #351 and 356 stops 260-300 meters away from the hotel.

Wonderful place.... Excellent persons Mr ESOS and his assistent Brandli....Instead of one day we staid two because We felt at Home... Esos's wife was an excellent Lady and Her daugter is not only a Tennis champion but also a Champion as a young lady - she has shown lots of common sense during our convesations... If I'm able I'll return to the place any time I can. It is an oustanding town... I'shall mention as well that their Breakfast is Excellent. Very clean and with a wonderful decoration. This shall be mention because it is out of the ordinary...

Nice Swiss Hotel
Reserved a Double Room with Extra Bed, but without any further ado the Receptionist upgraded us to an Apartment with 2 Bed Rooms at no extra charge. Great Breakfast and totally friendly Atmosphere.

Beautiful area
Nice little hotel in a beautiful area. Located right next to a great little hike. View from my room was not especially interesting. Water pressure in shower was terrible. Staff was friendly. The woman who served the breakfast was very kind and a very hard worker. Breakfast was good and the eggs were cooked to order. Parking was free but tight.

The Hotel is relative small, but the suite is clean, comfortable and the people are very nice. The breakfast is good. We had a early train at 7 AM and the breakfast will open from 7 to 9:30AM. When the Hotel receptor (I believe he is the Hotel owner) knew we have a early train, he specially open the breakfast for us at 6:00AM. We really appreciate it. We will certainly stay the Hotel if we will visit this area again.

Felt like a bed and breakfast. Easy to find, great location, fantastic breakfast. Older hotel but excellent condition and extremely clean and quiet. Gentleman at check in was very nice and helpful. Would love to return.

Clean, good location, pretty
Easy to find walking about 15 minutes of sidewalks from train station. Located on beautiful street near restaurants and shops. Quiet, clean lodging, nice linens, very good breakfast in nice room. Staff is helpful and attentive. Heidiland information center is a short walk.
