Biggest hotel in Bad Bramstedt
It is an old fashioned hotel, probably the best in the area. But my room was very old and 'old fashioned'.... Bed OK... The bath needs definitely a refreshment. The common area are OK.. Nice bar... Anyway for the price paid....is ok.

Decent hotel. Clean and close to A7. Good wireless connection and both food at hotel and some great local restaurants nearby. Free parking at the hotel. Showers/bathroom could need some modernization in the coming years.

This hotel was disappointing. We had selected TRYP Wyndham Bad Bramstedt because of Wyndham’s reputation and our previous experiences with the brand. Sadly it did not live up to our expectations. If you’re interested in why, buckle up. The hotel sits off the beaten path enough to make it inconvenient but not impractical. Check-in was fine. Nothing spectacular but smooth and uneventful. Our room was old and dirty. The color scheme, the furniture, and the layout were all reminiscent of a budget hotel. The paint on the balcony was peeling and there was a significant amount of mold both there and in the bathroom shower. I asked if I could pay for an upgrade to a larger room and was told that there were no larger rooms. I asked if I could pay for an upgrade to a newer room and was told that there were no newer rooms. At breakfast we were told to move to a different table because the one we sat in had already been cleaned. So we moved to a dirty table that had no clean flatware or coffee cups. The breakfast selection was sub-par when compared to the others we had visited on our trip.

Room was adequate but a little dated. No air conditioning in July made daytime in the room hot. Okay at night with door to balcony open but light came in and we were up at 5:30.

Really old rooms, pink bathroom suite with a white seat. No Wi-Fi in my room. Lifts are really dodgy, even have a sign up saying no more than 3 people at a time allowed in the lift if they have luggage! Eastern bloc chic you could call it. Adjoined with a soviet style retirement complex.

Old and not that clean
We stayed here for a night. It was on our way through Germany to a friends house. Three of the towels in the bathroom were dirty. The others had a weird smell. The "One Double" bed, which usually means a queen size bed, was literally two beds pushed together. There was a wood frame down the middle of the two beds which made having our 4 month old sleep with us in bed (he was sick at the time) very difficult. Their descriptions need to change. I can't prove it, but my wife and i were itchy the whole night which we think was due to lots of bed bugs. Breakfast was OK. nothing was very appetizing. We had a few things and just hit the road. The only good thing about our particular room was the view over the trees. There is no WIFI internet here.

Car trip
The chef didn't know dill from parsley so my shrimp with dill cream sauce was awful. Actually I left it on the plate and they dressed my salad so I didn't eat that either. My husbands schnitzel was terrific, but a German resturante shouldn't mess that up.

Bargain at older hotel with friendly staff
If you want a good night's sleep and don't mind an aging hotel with friendly, helpful staff, this will be your favorite. If you're looking for state of the art, super new and in perfect repair, skip it. We loved it for our purposes.

Good stopover, tad difficult to find
Once you realise it is the tallest building resembling an 80's block of flats we fiund the hotel it us not however very well signposted in town. My satnav gave it as the Kirkenhoff onw would presume this was a previous name! Food was fair in bar( only option open) breakfast was superb with good mix of foid types. All in all a good place to stop over in for one night

Great place
We found this hotel after a quick search when looking for a place to stay "halfway" to Denmark. I am so glad we did. We stayed too long in Denmark and decided to stay here again on the way back. We stayed in a smoking room since that was all that was available and since we don't smoke we thought it would be a problem but the room smelled as fresh and a non-smoking room. Highly recommend the hotel. The ONLY problem we had was we had to wait 5 minutes for clean plates during breakfast. It seems we arrived at the end of the breakfast rush and they ran out of plates. The hotel has a swimming pool and bowling alley but we had no time to use these since we were there literally to "sleep and run."

The lobby was up to date but the room was not. The décor was 80's and the TV was not a flat screen. There was a broken chair and the shower was awkward to use, due to a seating area in the shower. No kettle was available even though they said there was one. But the view was nice. For this price I expected better.

Booked a twin bed no smoking room but was given a small single bed smoking room. Hotel sorted it out for me but my friend was not so lucky. He asked for a rebate. Other wise everything OK. Restaurant closed in evening but food served in Bar was quite good.

Lobby war tip top, aber die Zimmer katastrophal, solche Zimmer Habe ich lange nicht mehr gesehen. Duschen voller Schimmel, Toiletten aus den 70er, Möbel demoliert, Fenster seit Jahren nicht sauber gemacht, steht ganz groß Sau auf der Scheibe aber juckt anscheinend keinen. Bin Dauergast in Hotels, von 365 Tagen 200 im Hotel. Aber es ist eine sauerei so viel Geld für null Leistung zu verlangen.

Vi tjekker ind kl21 hos en receptionist der fortæller at hun har første arbejdsdag. Hun hilser ikke, hun ved ikke hvilken etage vores værelse er på. Spaen virker ikke, hvilket ellers står på hjemmesiden. Receptionisten ved igen ikke noget. Vi bliver vækket kl07.45 af housekeeping. Meget mærkeligt når vi senest skal tjekke ud kl12. Da vi tjekker ud kl9 dagen efter receptionen tom. Der går et par minutter og en meget lidt høflig dame kommer frem. Igen ingen service eller høflighed. Vi vil ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Dårlig oplevelse
Virkelig nedslidt og beskidt hotel, der lugtede af røg og køkken ligegyldigt hvor på hotellet man befandt sig, billederne der er vist fra stedet er på ingen måde identiske med virkeligheden. Havde min søn med på en kort forretningsrejse, men poolen og bowlingbanen var lukket pga “et eller andet” virkelig skuffende.
