“A good night”
Food lovely, staff all very friendly and helpful, pianist excellent!

The hotel is central although if you wanted to go out in Irvine you would probably get a taxi back -but this would not be too expensive. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are really very nice and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and I ate so much I did not need lunch. I had dinner in the hotel too and the service was great and the food was wholesome and very good. I would have no hesitation in going back and taking my husband and child (I was on my own in this visit) and would recommend this hotel to my best friend! They seem to do good deals so worth looking out for these!

the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar prices were a little inflated ( £2.95 for a pint of diet coke is not reasonable). Its not encouraging not drinking and driving and as I dont drink because of health reasons its discriminatry.

the hotel was very reasonable and more than met the requirement for my stay, i would return if visiting irvine again
“first time at menzies hotel”
We enjoyed our stay however there were a few minor points that did not meet with my standards of a 4 star hotel. The first one was no fan in bathroom or if there was no indication of how to use it. Second one was only 2 paperhankies in box in bathroom, i would expect a full box. Third one was black marks on wallpaper next to dressing table in plain view of any customers, not a good sign to see. Overall staff easy very pleasant and helpful.
