“Rien à redire”

Je conseille l'hôtel sans aucun doute : l'accueil est très sympa, les chambres sont propres, et l'hôtel est vraiment bien situé ; on nous a conseillé un petit resto italien à 2 pas qui était très bon et pas trop cher ; je n'étais de passage qu'une nuit, mais c'est sûr, si je décide d'y retourner pour visiter la ville, je réserverais une chambre dans cet hôtel aux tarifs raisonnables..

“In the heart of Avignon”

Hotel de Garlande is a quirky hotel with a steep narrow staircase and exceptionally helpful and genuinely warm and engaging host, Olivier. The room was decorated in a contemporary style and though it wasn't a recent redecoration it was a clean room and comfortable enough. We were there in August, and it was hot, so we had the windows open (no air con, just a fan) but this suited us. The noise from the street was disturbing at times in the night as it echoed up the narrow cobbled street. We put it down to the whole experience of the place, and I doubt you would not have the same trouble anywhere else. We felt completely at home here and it was conveniently located if we needed to pop back during the day for forgotten sunglasses.

“Excellent hotel, well positioned”

Excellently positioned down side street off central square. Huge variety of restaurants within only a few minutes walk. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff with plentiful supply of literature about Avignon and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend.
