“I will book it again on our next trip.”
The staff person at the front desk was very professional when we checked in and our reservation was not in the computer. She asked the right questions and immediately got on the phone with expedia. She gave us a room that was perfect, ground floor next to the parking area, I did not even have to ask. The cleaning ladys were happy people, they gave us service with a smile, even if we left the room in a mess, they made sure that we had enough towels. The complimentry breakfast was great, it's what we call in Hawaii "ONO KINE FOOD". I would rate our our stay as EXCELENT.

When I finally got to the hotel there was NO parking...totally full...but the night guard went and moved his own personal truck so I could park...I had a BIG truck.. Thank you...

The room was perfect for the price.Cab drive was quick to and from downtown..had a room right across the pool, which was cool. I will be returning to Austin again for a show. I will be booking room at same place.
“Better than I expected”
I went to Austin with a couple friends to go to sixth street for a weekend, and the main thing was that i wanted somewhere to sleep, close to downtown, that wasn't roach infested or just plain old scandalous. My gf was traveling with us, and she can be pretty picky, so i hoped for the best. Honestly, when i arrived, my room was in the back - even though i had gotten there way early. I have no idea why other reviews called it dimly lit or dangerous back there. I was worried about the safety of my car....until i pulled in and there was a $100k benz parked in the lot. We got to the room, and i was extremely happy with what was there. Nothing too special, but definitely clean enough to satisfy my picky girlfriend. modern looking lamps. I must point out that we got a non smoking room. My buddy got a smoking room b/c he waited a little too late to book, and his room was definitely more worn...there was literally a hole in the side of the mattress that looked like someone cut open in a rush to stash some drugs or something. He didnt notice till the second day though. Overall, i could understand how a woman with three infant children or something could be worried about this place, but it was seriously well worth the money. The lobby of this place is really nice....seriously nicest super 8 ive ever been to, TONS of security cameras. and the guy behind the counter said they would be upgrading the tv's soon. i would DEFINITELY come here again.
