Helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Usable thermostat! Decent amenities such as DVDs available for borrowing and a good breakfast.

“Very affordable stay with good access to any part of Austin.”

I was greeted well and provided a newly renovated room that was very appealing. The rate was very affordable and the hotel provided a good selection of ammenities. Although the hotel is next to a major highway, the rooms were very quiet and none of the road noise could be heard at any time during the night. The flat screen TV was a real treat.

“Nice, but kooky!”

Great hotel, great breakfast, great bed!! Great price!! No complaints! However, there were a lot of objects in our room that did not need to be there: a paperback novel on the toilet tank, a basket of sea shells on the toilet tank, a laundry basket under the bathroom sink, a bathroom scale from IKEA, a stuffed bear on the bed that described the pillows (who doesn't know how to use a pillow??),. a writing table for the bed and an old box with old mints on the desk. We could have done without all that junk. Super great place, but lose the trash that doesn't really add anything.

“Happy in Austin”

This hotel was the best one we've ever stayed in!!!!!! I would totally recommmend it to everyone!!!! Very clean, it had every extra you could want! And more!!!!! Great food too!!!!!! Plus you had 6 pillows, a neck pillow, and a tubular pillow on the bed!

“Great place to stay.”

This hotel is a gem. Don't let the Super 8 brand put you off. It is conveniently located about 10 min from both the airport and central Austin. The facility is modern, clean and exceptionally well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable with top-quality beds, good TVs with built-in DVD players (and DVDs available in the lobby), refrigerators, irons, hair dryers, etc., and excellent heating/cooling. The breakfast is very good and open until 10:00 a.m. For us coffee snobs, they have a Starbucks auto brewer that's available 24 hrs. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

“Super Super 8”

I booked this motel based on the high rating to price ratio, and the high ratings were justified. Helpful workers, very good hot breakfast (waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, bacon, toast, Starbucks coffee), cookies in the evening. Clean room, seemingly recently built building. We had the "deluxe suite" with a king bed, huge tv, microwave, fridge, granite bathroom counters. Walls may be a bit thin. No nearby restaurants except a Taco Bell next door. Is a good cheap chinese/vietnamese restaurant about two miles west. You'll need a car unless you're using the free shuttle to the airport.

“Great bargain for Austin”

This hotel really tries hard, from having books, DVDs, and massage chair available for guests to having a pretty good breakfast and snacks in the room. The hotel was clean and quiet. A bit of a drive to downtown/UT area but otherwise a great stay.

“Austin Super 8 Airport South”

Best Super 8 I've stayed in. Seemed more like a 4 star hotel. I asked the front desk concierge if this was a new hotel, they replied that it gets renovated every year. the hotel itself was already 4 years old. We will stay here again when we visit Austin.

“Austin Airport Super 8”

We got in early and had no problems with an early check in. The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable. Each night they had out cookies or cake and coffee. The staff were very friendly! The breakfast room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was nice; had fruit & yogurt not just cereal/pastries/waffles. I was biased and thought this hotel would be less nice than other places I have stayed, but took a chance to save money based on the exceptional traveler reviews-I was not let down, and my expectations were exceeded. They even had guides in the room with details on closest shopping, restaurants, etc Very close to the airport

“retro cool”

upon arrival, the desk clerk informed us that they wanted to offer us a "themed" room and give feedback. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to find a cool blue retro designed room. Definitely a nice departure from the mundane beige walls and paint-splatter bedspread. The staff was great and we couldn't have been happier.
