“Holiday Inn”

The hotel was fine, you need a car to get around so make sure that you have a rental. Clean rooms, good service, I would recommend it.

“It's OK for the price”

This is a 3 star hotel. The room is small but it's clean, nothing fancy. We asked for a riverside room but they want $20 more so we just settle for a lesser view. We only stayed for one night and it met our needs. While the hotel is located in downtown Austin, it is still not within walking distance to many places in downtown. The pool is a little in convenient since we had to walk to the other side of the hotel and up 6th floor above the garage. The hotel offers free parking outside and in the garage so that's a plus for being in downtown area.

“Good value for cost”

The hotel offered everything needed at an excellent price for the area. Although a little further from the convention center, it was extremely easy to navigate traffic back and forth from the Holiday Inn. The staff was especially friendly and efficient and the restaurant had great selections and service. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

“New Years Eve Holiday Inn”

Very convinient to downtown Austin. Hotel gave us a free shuttle to the club where we were spending New Years Eve. Only bad thing is they have limited parking. Went to get something to eat around 2am & when I go back I couldn't find a space at the hotel. Probably due to being New Years Eve.

“Great Location”

Very clean comfortable hotel, in a great location. Easy access to downtown, and excellent walking, biking, running trails feet from the door along Lady Byrd Lake and the Colorado River.

“Adequate Austin Hotel”

Really, Holiday Inn is a Holiday Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The building is showing its age and could stand a renovation. There is no included breakfast like other HIs. The business center is available to all guests and is very helpful. The staff was courteous and always available. If you are looking for something fancy, look elsewhere. However, the cost was reasonable and we enjoyed our stay.

“GOOD PLACE TO STAY IN AUSTIN”

The Holiday Inn Town Lake is a very convenient place to stay in Austin. Right by Lady Bird Johnson Lake, nice walking paths available and rental bikes also available for riding along the lake's paths. Room was clean, employees were pleasant, but hall rugs are just plain dirty -- they need to be cleaned. This is the 4th time in 5 years that we have staed at this hotel and rugs remain dirty throughout the period. It really gives a bad impression and first impressions are important. Don't let the hall rugs ruin your stay, though, overall the hotel is very pleasant.

“Budget friendly and close to downtown”

The hotel is a little older, but in nice condition. Easy access to the Interstate and to downtown. The staff was very friendly. The room we had had 2 full beds and was a little small (for our family of 4). It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The layout of the room was awkward---the bathroom entrance is very close to one of the beds and did not allow for privacy. Our hotel room was on the side facing the Interstate, and was quite noisy. The location to downtown was great. And there is a cute lake in walking distance of the hotel. The pool is on the roof. It's pretty small, but a gorgeous view!! One thing I was disappointed in is that when we were booking the room one package included breakfast and the other package included parking (and you could not choose a package with both).---I chose parking as a part of my package. When we arrived, there were signs everywhere proclaiming "free parking." Parking was never an issue. I wish I would have put my money toward the breakfast!!

“Very disappointing!”

Was a bit disappointed with this hotel, I rented 2 rooms and 1 of the toilets would barely flush and had broken furniture. I paid extra for a lake view room and the lake was quite a distance away with a large area of concrete in between. Overall the motel was pretty old and run down and I probably would go somewhere else if I go to Austin again.
