The 3-star Hampton Inn and Suites Austin Downtown upholds all of the Hampton standards with a touch of elegance. Recreation
The fourth floor of the hotel has a 45-foot outdoor pool surrounded by a patio and lounge chairs. The adjacent hotel fitness room has weight machines, two treadmills, and a television.
The Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, 10 miles of crushed gravel trail flanking a dammed stretch of the Colorado River, is three blocks from the hotel. Bicycles, canoes, and kayaks can be rented within two miles of the hotel. At least nine golf courses are located less than 10 miles away, including nearby Hancock Golf Course and Lyons Municipal Golf Course (both public).

“Nice hotel in a good location.”
Have no complaints except that parking at the hotel is bit expensive (I paid $23 a night - only valet parking). I guess that is not unusual considering the location of the hotel but something to keep in mind if you driving your own car and planning to stay for a long period. Complementary breakfast was quite good.

Room was at a quality level of higher priced hotels. Breakfast was great, well kept.

Minus the construction around the hotel, this was a great place to stay if you're visiting Austin! The staff was very helpful, and the complimentary happy hour and breakfast was a nice touch. I'd definitely stay there again.

I was in Austin for a business conference. This hotel was within a block of the conference at the Four Seasons. I coulds see the Austin Convention Center from my windows. The views were great and the room was very comfortable. I was within walking distance to everything I wanted to do while I was in Austin. I'd stay there again.
“Great hotel in a great location”
We just stayed one night, but found the Hampton Inn very pleasant. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the hotel was very well kept, and the room was extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet. The pool could have been cleaner, but during our visit there was construction next door, making a big mess. The hotel is in walking distance of 6th St. and the Warehouse district, where the bars and restaurants are. Would highly recommend this hotel to any Austin visitor.

Our room was large and extremely well furnished and comfortable. The Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great, such a wide choice. Would definately recommend this hotel.
“Long Weekend Getaway For First Timer In Austin”
Hotel was great and in easy walking distance to all of downtown. FREE breakfast was more than I am used to for complimentary (partially hot!). Neighborhood was great. Small grocery store below hotel that has beverages and snacks. Crepe restaurant below hotel was awesome! Sushi across the street is equally as good. Short walk to see the bats. Short walk to 6th street! All and all I have no complaints. Go stay here, you'll be glad you did!
