Barton Creek Resort & Spa nestled within 4,000 secluded acres of rolling hills, just 15 minutes west of Austin. Centrally located near downtown, the resort offers easy access to Austin attractions, including museums and music festivals,
Guests can be pampered at the resort's full-service 15,000-sguare-foot spa and salon, offering an array of rejuvenating spa therapies and 24 massage treatment rooms. Golfers of all skill levels are challenged on the four championship golf courses. Barton Creek Resort & Spa also offers an 11,000-square-foot fitness center with an an indoor lap pool, and one of Austin's largest outdoor pools.
Other amenities include 11 tennis courts, an 18-hole miniature golf course, golf and tennis academies, a nature trail, a supervised children's program, family movie nights, and various kid-friendly activities.
Three dining options and 43,000 square feet of conference and meeting facilities are on site. A staffed business center, hair and nail salon, and lounge are available.

Barton Creek Resort & Spa offers 312 spacious guestrooms, including 16 suites, decorated in elegant Southwestern-style. Accommodations offer views of the Texas Hill Country, including the Fazio Foothills and the Crenshaw Cliffside golf courses.
Each room features a carved armoire concealing a television, in-room movies, and Nintendo games. Plush robes, sundries, and a fully-stocked refreshment center are provided. All guestrooms offer high-speed wired or wireless Internet access (surcharge).
Dining
Hill Country Dining Room - The hotel's main dining room offers views of our Fazio golf course. Features an expansive wine collection and live piano music Friday and Saturday evenings. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
8212 Wine Bar & Grill - Casual dining. Open for lunch and dinner.
Bartons Lounge - Chic sports bar with leather seating. Pool tables and big-screen high-definition TV. Locally brewed beer, cocktails, snacks, and entrées are available.
Resort Cabana - Poolside dining and drinks open seasonally for lunch and dinner.
Room service is available.
Recreation
Barton Creek Resort & Spa offers a variety of recreational activities, including private golf or tennis lessons, swimming pools, a full-service spa, a nature trail, kids' club, and a miniature golf course. A driving range and two 18-hole championship courses are on site, and two additional golf courses are nearby. The resort offers a complimentary golf shuttle.

“A Very Nice Resort”
Excellent accomodations, with premium beds, linens, etc. All room related amenties and services were top shelf and clean. Golf staff and the course was fine but Golf course access was limited to the Crenshaw Couse - would have loved to have played one of the Fazio Courses...only regret
“Top notch resort - Would highly recommend, can't wait to go back!”
Picked this resort for a little R&R...unfortunately happened to go to Austin during a "Freak Easter Ice Storm", utilized room service, spa services, etc...extremely satisfied. Beautiful pool area. Very secluded resort, not much around, but sixth street 10 minutes away. Can't wait to go back, next time I'll make sure to check the weather before I go :-)
“Lovely Resort”
A lovely resort in the Texas Hill country. With the exception of the pool area everything was great and well maintained. The pool area was not well maintained - the hot tub didn't work and it was full of unsupervised children. Food prices in the resort were very high, but there are plenty of restaurants in the Austin area. There is a lovely nature trail in the resort. We got a great rate thru Expedia - it was a bargain
“Barton Creek Hotel”
This hotel is incredible. You cannot beat the price for all that they give you in return. The resort is enormous, but it had a comfortable and welcoming feel. The staff was extremely helpful, too. I remain impressed with the property and would recommend it to others. Barton Creek is also in an idyllic setting, in the middle of a golf course. The best part, though, is that you are out in the countryside, but still only about 15-minutes from downtown Austin.
“An oasis in the perfect Austin location!”
I felt like I had won the lottery when I found Expedia's incredible deal on a room at this world class hill country resort. I thought I misread it. Good job, Expedia! From the sprawling campus to the world class amenities this is upscale Texas comfort all the way. I truly felt like I was on vacation when I settled into my room in the Spa tower at the Barton Creek Resort. Because they missed the small print on my special request when I booked I arrived to find a room full of down filled luxurious linens sure to cause a migraine for this highly allergic traveler. The housekeeper that showed up about an hour after I called them at the busiest time of the day spent at least thirty minutes stripping and redressing my beds down to the thick down mattress pads and remaking both beds in the room just to be sure I wasn't bothered. And she did all this with a smile on her face asking if she could help me with anything else. If you're not allergic to down the bedding in these rooms is heaven I'm sure! Food was really great and I got a call each day asking if my meal was okay. The spa and gym are really handy. Just bring plenty of extra spending money. This place is just an oasis in a perfect location and my new home away from home when in Austin!
“Romantic Weekend”
Resort from top to bottom and especially our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was amazing! Had a romantic weekend planned with my wife and it turned out better than expected with all this resort has to offer.

What a beautiful hotel! This place has it all and it's all first class. Gorgeous decor, large, comfortable and clean rooms, great pool area, friendly staff, well maintained grounds, and in a great location. A place we can't wait to return to! Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed with this resort.
“Lovely!”
Everything was great...the only thing was the price of valet-we had to use valet on July 4th since so many people came to see the fireworks that were not staying in the hotel~$50! The room was terrific and had a beautiful view.
