Well, how to start… we booked a „Suite Executive“ which was supposed to have enough space for the two of us (30sqm), including a dining table to have food in the room.
However, our room had no dining table and was only a bit over 20sqm - a dining table wouldn‘t even fit - and there was no space to properly sit down and eat.
When asking the reception if we accidentally got a wrong room, she confirmed that this was the room we booked. When pointing out that the description on Expedia differs and we specifically booked this room for the space to have a decent size room and a dining option, she said Expedia must be wrong - no excuse offered.
Upon complaining with Expedia they confirmed with the hotel that we got the correct room „Suite Executive“, but in no way reacted to the obvious false advertisement. „The booking is non-refundable and you got the room you booked“
Really Expedia? I am highly disappointed with the Hotel for the false advertisement, as well as with Expedia about their reaction when I complained…
