The property location is very tight and crowded but they do their best to valet park for you. Very nice hotel.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Room was large and clean and the staff was extremely helpful. We had arrived at 6:00 am after a 14 hour flight from Canayand they went out of their way to get us checked in early.

This is our 2nd stay at CityLife, whilst it isnt the flashest of hotels it is clean and comfortable and exactly what we need for a short stay in Auckland CBD. This time we were provided a complimentary upgrade to the top floor, which was a lovely and spacious, very quiet, room. The only thing we struggled with on a hot day was working out the air conditioning, but we sussed it out in the end with a lot of cursing in the process. The pool was a lovely way to start the new day, it was clean and warm. The only other downfall is check out time, be nice to hahe an extra hour until 11am to feel like we were not along on our merry way in the morning (especially being childfree too). But all in all a pleasant and lovely staff with warm and welcoming staff.

Repeat visitor because of location Repeated trouble with their air conditioning: not reactive enough, complicated control, blows heat instead of cold, 1 little unit for multi room suite > all inadequate Also repeated problems with elevators. They have 4 but 1 to 2 are blocked off for their own staff, 1 is often broken > which leaves 1 elevator for all guests

Great stay but ask for a high floor.
We had a lovely stay at the CityLife hotel. We had a deluxe room which was large and comfortable. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. We were on the 13th floor so, unfortunately, the view was mainly of the side of a concrete building next door, but friends on the 19th floor had a lovely view. I would request a higher floor room next time. Staff were ALL very very helpful and friendly.

Good central location but would have been nice to have been warned in advance that the restaurant is closed indefinitely. And for eco friendly they say if you want to help, hang up your towels etc if you don't want them replaced, you do this and they replace them anyway :-)
