“Very friendly staff, thanx!!!”
Very friendly staff, thanx!!!
“Great place to stay and meet lots of great people”
Although I went for a shared room for 4 people it was realy great. I got to meet some great people who were also traveling or backpacking around new zealand. Each person can lock there bags and other items under the bed, providing security. there is also a fridge in the room. The beds are comfortable. The hotel also provides rooms for one person or room with doudle bed at a very resonable price if you don't wish to share. There is also the common areas on the main floor, the kitchen where you can prep your own meals, chill out lounge, tv rooms, internet cafe, job search office and a travel desk. there is also the balcony bar upstairs that provides drinks and an evening meal upon booking. all in all a great place to stay.
“One Of The Best”
My stay in Base Backpackers pentastic, I enjoyed my stay in it is very good. I got all fecility in this Backpackers Auckland
“Will Definitely Return!”
As far as a hostel goes, this place offers quite a bit for as little as it costs. Full kitchen area (Buy or Bring Food to Cook & Refrigerator Storage Bag) WiFi (Hourly Charge is $3.00 NZD), Laundry Machines ($4.00 Wash/$2.00 Dry NZD), sheets on bed changed daily, very polite staff, free storage lockers under beds (Bring own lock or buy one for $5.00 NZD). This is a complete a-la carte facility, but for the price very well worth it! Room Key Deposit ($20.00 NZD Refundable), Laundry Detergent ($3.00 NZD), Body Soap ($1.00 NZD), Bath Towel Rental ($3.00 NZD) and much more. My lesson is to bring everything from home to save money, the bed, kitchen, storage locker, and usage of the shower are the only things included. - Will I return? Most definitely! - Enjoy your stay, maybe I will see you there?
“Warm and friendly”
Though you may think this hotel is only for the youngsters, it may fit everyone. The hotel staff are warm, friendly and informal. The kitchen and shower facilities are good. We had good views from our room. If you are not looking for too much luxury, then this is the place for you. This place may be tough for people with kids.
“simple but clean”
we had a double room, so we were by ourself. since it is a backpacker place, you have to share the bathroom and kitchen. the place is always busy but not noisy at night. most important, you have everything around!
“Great place to meet young people from all over the world”
The hostel was much better that I thought before. Great service, clean, great location as it is in downtown. Many young people from all over the world. It was a pleasure to meet them and communicate with them. Customer service 24/7, any questions will be answered. Tour service and great tour recommendations. There are also Legal services and employment office. City BUS to/from airport stops in front of the hostel.
“Fun backpacker”
The backpackers has a very friendly staff who will give you tips about the city, parties... There is an internet cafe and a travel agency on site. You can meet people from around the world. The bathrooms and the kitchen are frequently cleaned.
