The hotel is within walking distance of the boardwalk. I was able to walk to all the casinos and shopping areas without any trouble. The on-site restaraunt gave generous portions at a resonable rate. Other restaraunts were within easy walking distance. Casino Jitney stop was right outside the hotel. Safe parking and safe neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Conveniance store right across the street. Only complaint was that the pool was not available during my stay.

“Value for Money”

This is a value buy. We stayed in this hotel for two days. This is very close to all the casinos and you ca reach to hotel from casinos or vice versa by paying appox. $6 cab fare which is great deal. Would recommend the hotel to everyone who are looking for value for money..

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay you should really check this place out. Definitely enjoyed our stay there, check in was very fast was in my room in less than 5 minutes. The room was very clean and well organized, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in years. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions. The resturant across the street had very good food and a cool little grocery store for some late night snacks. The only thing that sucked was the breakfast, but will definitely come back. The boardwalk was 2 blocks away, which was great for me and the mrs

“clean and convenient”

It's an old HoJo. It's not the Ritz or the Marriott, but it was clean and convenient. My friends were staying at a hotel on the beach, and even tho the location was better, the HoJo seemed to be in better condition. The air conditioning worked. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. The king sized bed was awesome, and fell asleep as soon as I laid down. If I were to return to Atlantic City, I would do the HoJo again.

Was able to check in early which was nice, room was not clean yet so we went to the boardwalk and walked around for awhile before coming back and taking our things to the room. After in the room and getting settled to make evening plans, a maintenance man walked into our room to change the drapes. He was given the key by the front desk having been told that no one was checked into our room. After that we kept the door bolted and the safety chain on. Very clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and shower had good pressure. Wireless internet was crap. Could barely get connected and when I was able to it was only for a short period of time, then I would have to restart the computer to try and get the wireless back which sometimes didn't happen. It would have been nice if we had had a channel list for the TV because on the rare times we were in the room it took awhile to find a channel that we knew would have something we wanted to watch on.

“Good Hotel for the Price”

My stay at the HJ was good. I did not have any problems with reservations or with my accomidations. I would have liked more security for my car and some information about the restaraunts and local happenings. But, overall, it did what I needed it to do. Oh, I would have also liked to have a free complimentary breakfast. The cafe is right downstairs, but you have to pay.
