W suites are incomparable to any other brand. The W Downtown was no exception. Morton's is a short 5 minute walk away, as are the aquarium and world of coke. Don't miss the W Downtown.
“Great Price, Great service, Loved it!!”
I chose this hotel from the pictures as the hotel was so sexy and sleek. I drove from Ms. to attend a concert on Friday night and stayed at the W downtown for the weekend. On Sat, I enjoyed the pool on the 16th floor and was served mimosas, bloody marys, and wine from the bar as well as a fantastic salad from the kitchen delivered poolside. The food is outstanding and looks just like a picture out of a magazine. I enjoyed the robe provided in the room and wore it to and from the pool. The drinks and food are expensive but you will not care because the service is amazing and everything I drank or ate superb. The room was dark, sleek, modern, and very comfortable. The bedding and pillows are of high quality. I stayed in a wonderful room and that it is! Had a great view as I stayed on the 7th floor. The shower was see through into the bedroom and I liked that! Also was given a free private driver for our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for singles and lovers and not as much for families. Out dancing the night away Sat. night at Opera and good times had by all. I am definitely staying at any W I find in my future destinations. You should get the preferred customer card as you can accrue points and receive discounts, and more amenities. Have fun, I sure did!
“Best Hotel EVER!!!”
The minute my taxis pulled into the valet area I had non-stop and very professional customer service. This hotel and ALL of its staff members blew me away with their kindness and willingness to do anything for its customers. My experience was so great that I have no desire to stay anywhere except W hotels. Two thumbs way up!!!

I stayed at the W Downtown for 5 nights in October 2009. Outstanding hotel, superb staff, and an awesome city! The W Downtown ATL is highly recommended.
“Wonderful get-away!”
Very, very trendy but the service was first class. All of the hotel personnel we had interaction with were unbelievably friendly and helpful to us and went out of their way to make sure we were having a a very special get-away weekend.

“Great new hotel - Typical W Style and Vibe”
The hotel is only about 2 months old at this review. Everything was fresh and new - and very "W." Nice bathroom amenities from Bliss. Hip dark colors, upscale furnishings, great bars and lobby. The hotel's lobby and downstairs bar seem to turn into a night club at night. The hotel is probably not the best for a family trip, but great for couples or singles.
“cool n trendy”
Very swanky. Room was very cool boasting great decor, comfy bed. Lots of options for snacks, drinks in room. Staff was nice. Room service was ok. spa on site. bar downstairs was lively for a weeknight.
