Homeless Shelter on CornerPosted 17-Apr-2014
Pros: Not much if all the hotel weren't booked and I could have been refunded I would have gone to another hotel.
Cons: Everything can be improved.
Location: You are practically downtown. I walked everywhere and took in the sites, but you have to walk pass the all the homeless people don't prefer.
This was the worst stay I ever had. Expedia does not warn people about what this hotel is about prior to stay. As soon as I got out my cab I was asked for my ID, each and every time I came on to the property I was asked for my ID. They say that it is for my protection, but anyone with an ID can walk onto the premises which isn't protecting anyone. They have no list of it's guests so what good does it do looking at my ID. Then there is a homeless shelter on the corner. If you're a single woman this is not the hotel for you if to plan to do any walking especially at night by yourself. People sleeping in a empty lot right next to the hotel. The security woman is horrible and argues with guests at the hotel for no reason, but the fact that she feels she can and the hotel manager is just as rude as the security wannabe police officer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. As for the hotel it is ok for the price that you pay. However the bathroom floor had lots of dust especially around the edges and corners you can tell housekeeping never mops the floors. Definitely wear shower shoes. Makes you wonder do they ever vacuum. I looked under my bed because I dropped my glasses and there was lots of stuff under there from pasted guess. This hotel sucks and I wish expedia would have at least let me know that a homeless shelter was right on the corner having to be harassed and feel unsafe at night sucks.

You get what you pay forPosted 14-Apr-2014
This hotel is just fine. It is not in the best part of town. There is a homeless shelter a block away, so there are homeless people around during the day. They will ask you for cigarettes; they will not threaten you. There is an armed security guard at all times. At night times, they all go away so you have nothing to worry about. If you would feel safer staying somewhere else, go spend a couple hundred bucks a night to be a couple blocks away. For the price, this hotel is perfect. We checked in, went to a Braves game, came back and crashed. Perfect for what we needed it for.

The location was horrrible. The maid service was unacceptable. Towels were dingy the bed was never made and the bathroom was not cleaned. Even when the do not disturb sign was removed. The front desk staff were not very friendly. The toliet leaked. The tv romote did not function properly. The phone did not work and lastly there were no hangers, thus we had to purchase them. I would never send a friend or family member here.

Regular place to stay when traveling.Posted 6-Apr-2014
Cons: Clean room better. There is dust in corners.
I found it nothing special about it. The only problem is that I had a noisy lady in the next room. She made noise all night long so that it was not easy to sleep though I was tired after a long drive.

Careful not to trip on the homeless out front.Posted 5-Apr-2014
Cigarette holes in the comforter, yellow stains on the towels, doors slamming all night, trash and homeless people out front. No water glass (can you even drink the water)? I am shocked that Expedia is in business with this place.

Horrible....worst ever...Posted 31-Mar-2014
I checked in, and wasn't all that thrilled with the atmosphere. During the night around 3 am police officers busted the people in the room next to me. They were loud and were busted for crack cocain. I tried to get a refund and go to another hotel, and was denied. I emedietly called Amex and they refunded my card. Horrible place!!!!

Pros: Staff was courteous enough.
Location: The one and only redeeming quality of this place is the close proximity to downtown
The staff here was cordial, and that's really the only nice thing I can say about the hotel. The linens, pillowcases particularly- were pretty disgusting. The cases looked as if a coal miner had spent the night just before we arrived and hadn't showered before bed. Drool stains on the pillowcases as well. Quite classy. Sheets also had a couple of pubic hairs on them. Oh joy! I don't expect much from a ~$70/night place. But I expect them to at least make an attempt at cleaning. It's unacceptable and disgusting. One more note as far as the location goes. Close to downtown, and practically next door to a homeless outreach program. If the majority of the homeless population weren't as polite as Atlanta's seems to be, this could be something that may make you feel uncomfortable walking back to the hotel late at night.

close to down town within a milePosted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: just the bed very comfortable
Cons: just the room seem outdated when we first walk in it just smell musty
Location: location was not that great not for some one that does not no area
As soon as we drove onto premise we knew we might be in for a long road but it all went well just the location did not show well we had gone to a concert with turn out well just a over night stay but if it were for more night I dont think we could have stay more than the three hours we were there
Thank you for taking the time to book with our Hotel. We may be in the middle of what one would call the Homeless area. Our goali is to provide all of guest and employee's a clean and safe Stay . Thank you for staying with us.

Terrible. Unsafe. We took a look at it and left.Posted 10-Mar-2014
Cons: Take it off the expedia list. I can't believe expedia represents these people.
We didn't even stay. There were police at the hotel when we arrived. Had to walk through a group of homeless people to get to the hotel. The hotel is located next to a vacant lot in which there are homeless structures/tents set up. The rooms all open to the outside of the hotel which made it feel even more unsafe. I'm not a wimp and I've stayed in crappy places before, but there's no way I would have felt safe walking around after dark, which was necessary this trip, so we left. Misadvertised - the pic shown was a picture of the condos across the street. I want my money back.

Cheap and cheerfulPosted 4-Mar-2014
When driving down to the hotel, I locked all the car doors there was a lot of homeless people just wondering around. But as soon as you enter the hotel there's 24hr security. You can only enter with ID. If your just looking for a place to just sleep then it's perfect.
