wouldn't stay again

Posted 17-Nov-2014
There is no main office. Just a security guard running everything. Room key didn't work so i had to get the guard to let me in each time i wanted back in the room. i could see day light through the door crack. no dead bolt, just a safety chain for security. Bed was OK, shower top could use a wipe every now and again. neighbourhood is not somewheres you would walk around at night.

Pros: Everything
Cons: WiFi was a little weak
It was awesome, perfect conditions and safe. Great location really close to everything to do in Atlanta and really gave the meaning of Atlanta GA.

Value for money

Posted 24-Oct-2014
Pros: caring staff
Cons: availability of food, boundary wall around the hotel building, better fumigation
Location: OK has pros and cons, not too near to shops or public transport, though in city centre, area is quiet but inmates were a rough.
has all the basic things you need fro an overnight stay, TV, fridge coffee maker, iron, towels, clean room and bath, but no restaurant or food koisk/vending machine.

Pros: Security at the gate in order to enter. it makes you feel safer.
Cons: The hotel needs updates throughout the rooms. It is old and run down looking. Maybe a fresh coat of paint and some new fixtures would be nice.
Location: Best location, so close to everything
I enjoyed my stay. The staff were nice, the location was ideal and overall, it was pleasant.

Affordable hotel, convenient to Midtown

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff were very cheerful and helpful. The security guards were always smiling, and the ladies at the front desk were informative.
Cons: The sheets and toiletries looked good, but the trash can under our kitchen sink has not been emptied upon arrival.
Location: The hotel itself is situated near several restaurants and a grocery store, which is convenient if you're cooking with the kitchenette in your room.
We came to work with homeless ministries, so we knew what to expect. This hotel is in a neighborhood with much homelessness, but which is going through gentrification. One block feels like the ghetto, the next has upscale apartments. If you are checking in Late, you will need to arrange reservations (with a credit card) up-front, then the security guard checks you in.

The hotel have many reasons to be a good simple hotel, but the localization is terrible. looks like daggers area of Atlanta.

Bad area

Posted 8-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean. Comfortable.
Cons: Cabinets needed some repair.
Location: Civic Center, walking distance to Publix, Walgreens and downtown.
This motel is fine to stay in if you need a place to sleep and shower and travel by car to and from but if you plan on walking to your destination beware. There is a homeless shelter to the west. The hotel has security and a fence surrounding the property and the homeless mostly stay away but it is concerning. We walked towards Piedmont and stayed off Courtland.

It's closer to Coca-Cola Museum. Also, there is near to downtown.
