Affordable Hotel in Downtown Atlanta

Posted 12-May-2015
I was extremely skeptical and honestly a little nervous to stay here after reading existing reviews. However, we had a great experience with this hotel. Our room was clean and vermin-free. I felt safe and secure because of the security guard in the parking lot and never felt uncomfortable walking to/from Shaky Knees music festival.

Good location but you get what you pay for

Posted 8-May-2015
Pros: Being close to downtown and low price.
Cons: facility, cleanness.
It's a very close to major attractions. One disadvantage: it's very close to a homeless center which create some security concern at night. Room is not squeaky clean but reasonably clean. However, it definitely needs some renovation. I stayed two nights. My key card never worked and I had to ask a security guy to open the door for me every time I needed to enter my room. Sometimes, even the security guy couldn't open the door with his master key card. At night, road traffic could be noisy. My pillow was not very comfortable either.

Waste of time

The office closes at night. The security guard is in charge. No clerk. This is stupid.

Not a hotel suite a motel stay.

Posted 20-Apr-2015
First this suite is not in walking distance to Downtown ATL. They did not clean the room or offer basic admenties unless requested. Housekeeping is only assessable to admenties and they leave work 6pm. Any request will be provided next day at 9am when shift starts. Room are just not properly kept. Beds are old, Tiles need to be fixed

Rough

Hotel is in a rough area. Many homeless people around. You have to show your ID each time you drive in the entrance. Strange experience.

This place is trash

Posted 3-Apr-2015
Never allowed to go to your room until you check in with an ID with security guard, stained bathroom towels upon arrival, located on street where the homeless live, police lights flashing outside hotel every night, lamps don't work, hotel door hard to open and close.

dangerous location, crappy facilities

Posted 2-Apr-2015
The location doesn't make me feel safe at all. There are homeless people roaming around the blocks right next to the hotel. I am scared even to walk to the nearby supermarket. The sheets look dirty. Overall, disappointing. I would rather spend extra money on a nicer hotel in a better location. Never again.

Pros: The price and proximity to restaurants and midtown
Cons: Better internet it was slow and disconnected often
The price and proximity to midtown can't be beat. It's a great place for budget travelers.

Located in bad area

Posted 22-Mar-2015
In 5 days, the hotel staff, 2 times did not fix the room, no cleaning, no soap, no towels, and in 5 days of my stay, they never change the bed sheets.
