“Great hotel”
We stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve. I had never heard of this brand but they were the only hotel with a room in the area I wanted to stay in. I was worried about what I would get based on some other reviews, but the hotel was great. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel was insane on New Years Eve as far as crowds go due to some special parties in the Penthouse, but the hotel staff handled it beautifully. They had a police presence a the elevators to assist the staff in ensuring that only people that had booked rooms were allowed upstairs which was great. The downstairs bar was very nice and had an awesome DJ. It was a wonderful night and I would definitely go back again.
“Good hotel accommodations but poor Sunday brunch.”
The Sunday morning buffet was not satisfactory. The food was cold in some cases, no one was behind the line to cook eggs to order, the scrambled eggs on the line were next to terrible - very lumpy, cold, and obviously made from powdered egg mix, the receptionist at the entry told us the buffet cost $7.99 - when we got the bill it was $11.99 (my wife and I clearly heard her say $7.99) and the waitress asked if we wanted orange juice without telling us that it cost $3.00 each extra, (we would not have had it if we had known).
“amazing.”
It was a great stay. Very clean, great service, and most importantly the view is gorgeous.
“Best Hotel Stay in a long time!”
I don't understand some of the reviews online. The comments don't match the experience my wife and I had. We really enjoyed our stay and the environment was so laid back and romantic for our situation. We will be back again.
“Thumbs Up”
The breakfast buffet is great. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. One-half block from MARTA made travel very convenient yet is within walking distance of many sights. We walked from the Phillips Arena back to the Melia. Great proximity to Georgia Tech if one is visiting a student.
“Business owner”
Friendliest people ever, Cleanist hotel I have ever stayed at. Nice size rooms, comfy beds. Breakfast included with my stay, how can you beat that, I will be back!
“5 star service”
Great experience, I highly recommend this hotel, the staff was excellent, the best hotel I have stayed at in Atlanta!!!!!!!!
“Very Impressed”
The only issue I had with the hotel is the parking. Their parking is also city parking so you have to pay every time you leave unless you valet.
“Great Hotel”
We went to Atlanta for the Packers vs. Atlanta football game. This was our first time in Atlanta and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel staff was friendly and very informative. They helped us with directions whether we were walking or taking the MARTA. One of the great benefits of this hotel is its proximity to the MARTA station. The breakfast that was provided at the Melia was fantastic. Everybody always had a smile on their face. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
“Can't Wait To Go Back!!!!”
Excellent Customer Service....... Great Location. Parking was very expensive.
