The Dining staff was lovely--no complaints there. The hotel staff and overall hospitality was poor. I stayed at this location for 6 nights so I had ample time to see and be seen by staffers. I inititated a greeting of "goodmorning" or hello everytime I saw someone. At several instances my eyes met with the staffer after walking off the elevator and they turned their heads away. THen I offered a greeting of "goodmorning". The cleanliness was poor. Linens/the outer cover, quilt was help up to the natural light and a horrid discoloring and coagulation of the interior contents were seen and fragmented throughout the cover. Underneath the sink had dust balls and obviously had not been cleaned in a while. The phone was absolutely disgusting and covered dust. I don't use hotel phones because I have my cell and I can just walk down to the front desk so I didn't get too crazy about that. However, this is still disgusting and no guest should be subjected to seeing that ESPECIALLY when you're paying money to stay somewhere. This stay was over the Christmas holiday which made it more of a time of engagement and hospitality in which this location failed! In addition, for such a grand outward exterior, the grounds lacked basic maintenance and general landscaping. Again, I must stress I stayed at this location with my family for SIX nights--a significant amount of time to assess a location.
