Hippy Chic Lounge bar - This modern bar is lit-up by the impressive glass roof of the atrium, and accented by a large suspended tree sculpture. The bar is open from 7 AM until 2 AM daily, and serves drinks and light snacks.
Island 12:00 Rooftop Pool Bar - Set beside the seasonal pool, this bar is located on the 9-story hotel's rooftop, featuring views of the Acropolis, Lycabetus Hill, and the city. The bar serves cocktails and snacks daily from May through the end of September depending on weather conditions.
Recreation
Athens Imperial features a seasonal outdoor pool on the rooftop. The health club includes a sauna and a massage treatment room.

“Great place to stay...Large bathroom”
A nice hotel to stay. Across the street from Metro. Very simular to an American hotel minus the coffeemaker and microwave. The tub is large for a big man. After walking all day in Athens, a hot bath was nice to come back to the hotel to relax.
“Would definitely stay there again.”
The staff at reception were extremely helpful and polite. The breakfasts were fantastic and the rooms were lovely and roomy. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
“Great location”
This hotel is located near a subway entrance. The room was great and the buffet style breakfast was very nice.
“A great choice”
We spent three nights at the Athens Imperial. When we arrived, an extra bed was already made up and waiting for my daughter. The room was huge, especially compared with other European hotels. The bathroom was beautiful, with separate tub and stall shower with a premium "rainfall" shower head. The rooftop pool was smaller than expected, but very nice. Late evening swims with a view of the illuminated Acropolis were especially rewarding. The restaurant and bar are extremely pricey by my standards, but the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is not located right near the Acropolis or other sights, but is an easy Metro ride away. My family would definitely stay there again.
“Cant wait to go back”
Very impressed with the hotel, staff and the location was great. The extreme delight was the impressive view of the acropolis which one could enjoy by the roof top pool or drinks in the evening where it was lit up. We were on the fifth floor and the room was very comfortable and clean. Definately the enjoyment of the pool after a hot morning or day sightseeing was bliss or a late start before sightseeing was great. I can recommend this hotel and the location we never felt unsafe....it was across the road from the metro and across the road for catching the tourist hop on hop off bus. Definately would stay here again!!! The staff were most helpful with helping with directions or offering tickets for different tourist activities ie. hop on hop off bus (between 15 - 18 eruos per person) We enjoyed the in house breakfast a couple of mornings which was very delicious. We stayed for six nights in September 2010 and look forward to staying again!
“Good Choice for visiting Athens”
My wife and I spent 4 days in this hotel in August 08. The room was very nice especially the bathroom. The view from the rooftop pool and bar is extraordinary. But what makes this hotel so great is that Athens' excellent subway system has a station directly across the street. This makes the Classical Athens Imperial a great deal.
“Good hotel; well located”
The Hotel is well appointed, confortable and with modern rooms (either recently renovated or new). Some rooms have a view of the Acropolis. About 10 minutes by taxi to the Plaka. Air conditioning OK but not as cool as we like it. The prices at the cafe at the hotel were exhorbitant (an espresso coffee for 5.40 Euro and continental breakfast for 30 Euros). Best food and price across the avenue from the back of the hotel- Crystal City Hotel. The restaurant is at the top of the building with great views of the Parthenon, especially at night when it is lit. The food was outsdanding and the prices incredibly low (by Greeece standards). We had a great rissotto (aobut 8.50 Euros) and a pork tenderloin filled with cheese (10 Euros) that were superb. Service at this restaurant was also great. The restaurant right across the hotel (recommended by the hotel staff) was mediocre at best. Overall the experience was a positive one and would gladly return to this hotel.
“Best Price”
It is very close to metro stataion and hotel service is really good. There is a pool at the roof and the view is fantastic.
“Excellent hotel”
Classical Athens was a wonderful and comfortable place to stay, and I would definitely stay there again. The staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful, and I've never stayed in a cleaner room. Maintenance was attentive to everything, and there was even a crew painting the hallway scuffs and freshening things up. The views are great, and the pool on the roof was wonderful. The surrounding neighborhood was typically urban, but a few blocks and one is into the Plaka. You may also take the convenient underground from a station across the street, but I preferred the walk. Great value!
“Very pleasant 2-week stay”
Excellent staff, bilingual. Would stay again. The view from the rooftop, when it's open during the season, is incredible. The ice machines are small and often out of ice.
