“Best Deal in Aspen”
Clean, cozy, laid-back, mellow. Nothing flashy here, how nice. At the foot of Aspen Mt. and views beyond compare. Wonderful breakfast buffet, excellent service everywhere (ski shop, lobby, etc.)
“very impressed”
Very good location - you can ski right into the hotel from the Ajax mountain. The hotel condition is excellent, breakfasts are good.
“Kitchy, Fun & Comfortable, the Sky Gets High Marks”
My friend and I were disappointed all the 4-star hotels were booked for our stay, but the Sky delivered beautifully. The accommodations were fun and kitchy, but quite comfortable, and the entire staff provided friendly and very attentive service. The rooms are small, but certainly comfortable, and the creative decor is all charm. The Sky is a fun, unpretentious boutique hotel that leaves you with a smile. And the bar is fun, too. I've stayed at the best hotels worldwide, and I'd definitely recommend it.
“Great Location in Aspen”
Very hip. The lounge is popular among the locals. The rooms are pretty standard but beds and linens are great.
“Halloween at the Sky”
The stay was excellent and is definitely the place to be in Aspen on Halloween.
“Aspen's funkiest...and funnest place to stay!”
This is not a place if you are a 'stick in the mud' mean person. It is fun, whimsical and vibrant. The staff is great!
“Modern boutique”
Hotel very modern. Room comfortable. Great bed. Bar and pool area seemed to be busy. Only valet parking and very expensive for a slack time.
“Great place, only one problem”
Room was great. Service was great. The only problem was actually at the bar. Very weak drinks, my Gin and tonic actually tasted like a tonic w/ a spash of Gin. For the quality of the hotel (and the price of the drink) I expect a more compentent bartender.
“Very cool hotel!!!”
This hotel is in a great location and is very hip - with the staff providing great service. The bar is the happening place for apres ski and the hot tub and outdoor patio is fun. Rooms are small but comfy and nicely decorated.
“Best off-season stay”
We stayed here for our honeymoon since we wanted a quiet time in Aspen during the off-season. It was one of few hotels that were open. It was not fully staffed but still received great service. They upgraded us to a suite when finding out it was our honeymoon. Rooms were very clean. All the bellmans and concierge were very friendly.
