“Nice place..”

The hotel is just outside of Paris, which is a better option for cost. The train ride is literally 4 minutes .. and I think it cost about 25 Euro total for myself and a friend to have unlimited train/metro rides for 2 days. The room (and bathroom) was very clean and the hotel has a bar which is pretty nice. Don't expect to get fancy drinks, as the receptionist is the bartender. They basically make you whatever you ask and then keep the tally in the register. I'd stay in this hotel again. I'd also recommend it to friends.

“Good hotel in an excellent location”

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and couldn't fault it. The hotel is just outside of Paris but with the train station a 2 minute walk away this wasnt a problem. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good english and were more than happy to help with any queries. Although our room was basic it was clean and had everything that we needed. I would definately return to this hotel again

“Quiet boutique hotel outside of Paris”

Pleasantly surprised at the excellent continental breakfast. Conveniently located 2 blocks from the metro, nice neighborhood, boulangeries and pattisseries closeby. The rooms were quite small but were perfect for our stay. Hotel staff was very helpful (getting cabs, directions, etc) and everyone could speak English which made our stay much easier. Walk around the neighborhood-nice shops too! Overall a great stay-rooms cleaned daily, nicely updated bathrooms and we had a window opening to the courtyard/patio. We had cocktails on the patio at night-available from the bar if you ask.

“Value for money”

I must say for a two star hotel I got more than I expected. The room was clean and a good size. The service was very good and a 5 minute walk to the train station [asnieres sur seine]is not bad going.

“very pleased -- again”

I've stayed here several times, and it can't be beat. Always very pleased. An exceptionally good, breakfast (for France) is included. All you want. Free wifi internet in room, and free computers in lobby (also most unusual; hardly anything is free in France!). Fluent English and Spanish-speaking staff. One block from the Seine. A nice suburb and easy to get to: a 3 minute walk from Asnieres train station, which is just one stop out of St. Lazare. From CDG, take train to Gare du Nord, then RER (Magenta sta.) to St. Lazare. Buy one ticket which will take you straight through.

“Clean, Well-Run, Contemporary (small rooms)”

Asnieres was a very pleasant town about 15 min train ride from the metro. Some of the floors of the hotel were under renovation but we loved the contemporary feel of the entire hotel and room. Although it was tiny, it was just what we needed. The internet was unreliable in our room but was strong in the dining area. Breakfast was good too; pastries, cereal, fruit, meat, cheese, and baguettes. The staff spoke English fairly well and were very accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are looking for a economic stay.

“A small but very nice hotel for the price in the suburbs.”

A 2 minute walk to the train station and then a 10 minute train ride to downtown Paris. My room was very clean and they have wireless internet on top of a computer guests can use in the lobby.

“We'd do it again!”

We were looking for a budget hotel with a local feel and found it. We were traveling with our 10 yr old and needed the additional bed, what we found was that her bed was tucked away behind a small wall giving us a bit of privacy. It was small but quaint, came with a portable AC. Free parking was limited to 2 spaces in front (streetside) and whatever you could find in the driveway on the side, the staff was kind enough to explain the rates of other parking areas. We were fortunate enough to get one of the free spots. The Nearest Metro is a good 15-20 min walk, however, the train station is closer, about 2 blocks away. Breakfast was included and simple as french breakfasts are anyways. TV in room, 2 bath rooms, one with tub, sink and urinal, the other with just a toilet. Free internet in lobby, courtesy storage for your bags. Indoor and outdoor eating area, free publications to read, a small bar. Plenty of cafe's and bakeries nearby, a couple of restaurants, grocery and a pharmacy too. Tiny 3-person capacity elevator. We were comfy and had a wonderful time! A little difficult to find without a good map, but there is a sign that points to it from the main street (exit the Pheriphique onto the 909, then go north just across the river).
