“Nice, affordable place to stay”
Good value. Clean rooms. The double bed room was a tad small, but otherwise fine. Comfortable beds. Nice TV. Had to go to front desk to get iron and ironing board.
“Good Hotel”
The people were friendly and the rooms were nice. The continental breakfast was donuts and coffee.
“Nice Stay”
Hotel was convenient to interstate and very clean. Front-desk staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
“Can wait to go back”
A not bad hotel.
“Good price performer.”
Great location, convenient to major highways and restaurants.Friendly staff.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
I took my daughter to a concert recently and decided to stay overnight. I dind't expect too much given the low cost. How pleasantly surprised we were to find such a friendly staff, clean room, very comfortable bed (with lots of pillows!) and a flat screen TV! I recommend this hotel for a quick visit or even a long stay. If I have the opportunity to return, I'll definitely come back to this hotel.
“Good hotel, ok service”
If you are going to the Blitmore, this hotel has a great location and good value. The room is clean and updated, but does feel a little cramped. The front desk was not friendly, but they did help if asked. I would recommend staying here, because for the location and room quality, it is a great value.
“Good basic value and comfort”
If you don't care if you get breakfast but are looking for a comfortable, clean, convienient hotel at a reasonable price you can't beat this hotel.
“adiquate for overnight”
Not worth commenting.
“just the necessities, but good value!”
we decided to try this hotel because it was $30 cheaper than everything else in the area. while it didn't have the amenities that others might (breakfast, nice view, etc.), and it's not IN downtown, we were very happy with our decision. the hotel does not look nice from the outside - the parking lot is poorly lit, there's no overhang or canopy or anything marking the entrance, and there isn't really a lobby either. the staff person at the front desk was very nice and helpful, though, and the room was adequate. the room was clean, the tv was nice, and it there was a mini fridge, too. the bathroom was pretty small. we also didn't bother to open the curtains because our room's window overlooked some sort of junkyard next door. overall - if you're booking your honeymoon, stay away from this hotel. you can get a nice room in downtown for $50 more per night. if you're planning a weekend in asheville, not planning to spend a lot of time in the room, and you're on a budget, go for it!
