“Good value”

After reading other reviews I made it a point to ask for a room on the front of the building, If a train passed in the night we were unaware because we were sound asleep in a comfortable bed. The breakfast was a very nice benefit. Try the waffles.

“Great Hotel in Asheville! Will definately go back”

This hotel was great. Check-in was fast and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not a big spread but more than enough for us and it was very good (especially the make your own waffles) We would definately stay there again the next time we are in Asheville. This hotel is a great value for the price. Highly Satisfied!

We wanted to visit downhtown Asheville, with Biltmore as a secondary interest. This hotel is actually east of Asheville, but a short drive (about 5 miles) to downtown or Biltmore and a lot cheaper than downtown hotels. We used it before and after a wedding in more eastern NC. We felt good enough to bring Houston cousins with us the second time and they were satisfied. The breakfast was nice to have and included waffles. Rooms were quiet and nice size. There's Wifi and a pool. Staff friendly. Minor complaints: doors from outside didn't always respond to key card, would like more whole grain food at breakfast (this is true most places) and the parking lot got full with busses and trailors. We did find 2 parking spots at 11 pm. So it worked well for my husband and I.

Overall this is a great hotel to stay for a trip to Asheville. The staff was proficient and friendly, the continental breakfast was good, andn the room was clean and well equipped. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Surprisingly good quality for such a discounted price”

We were not at all familiar with Asheville and worried after reading another review that said that this hotel did not have locks on the windows (it does - it is a little switch on the side of the window). We were pleasantly surprised - very convenient to I-40 (5 min or so to Biltmore or downtown, 20 min or so to Chimney Rock Park, 2 seconds from the Blue Ridge Pkwy, & just over an hour to great hiking/rafting in the western part of the state). Breakfast included waffles, toast, cereal, & fruit; cookies out most of day. Bed was very comfortable. Pool area was nice. Ample parking. Convenience store across the street. PLUS, the $50 we saved per night compared to other hotels allowed us to eat at a great Mediterranean restaurant downtown (Jerusalem something...) and at Biltmore. Only complaint is that the staff was unable to answer many tourism questions, so go prepared! Oh, also, don't stay there if you absolutely hate dogs (I read a review that complained about that)

“Would definitely stay here again”

We were very pleased to receive a warm, hassle-free welcome from hotel staff and find a clean, comfortable room awaiting us after a long stressful day on the road. The room was smoke free as advertised but lacked a refridgerator, a preference of ours but a minor inconvenience as the hotel is located within easy walking distance from a good variety of restaurants. The hotel is also located along a railroad track, so be sure to request a room on the far side of the building. We could hear the train at the check in desk, but not from our room. We travel to Asheville several times a year and overall, for price and comfort, this hotel was a winner for us.

The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The courtesy breakfast was a wonderful surprise! We did not bring our dog but were pleased to note that they were welcome. Our destination was the Biltmore Estate and we were minutes away from the front gate AND downtown Asheville. This is one of our newest, favorite destinations. Thank you Days Inn for a most pleasant stay.

The staff were very accommodating. I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to use the side entrance any time. Continental breakfast was delicious each day as well.
