We liked everything about it.Was disappointed that the hot tub and swimming pool was down.We stayed for 4 days the pool finally was opened but not the hot tub.

The inside of the property was very clean and the staff was very friendly. On the outside, there were cigarette butts everywhere. They also had landscaping done where they had been edging and weeding, but they didn’t blow the debris off of the sidewalk. There were also a lot of people just outside in the parking lot drinking and hanging out pretty much nightly. The indoor pool is nice and heated but is very small. The area is convenient to everything. Only about 10-15 from the zoo and several shops and dining options within walking distance.

The day time staff was amazing! They were so friendly and respectful. However, the lady with glasses who worked at the front desk in the evening (late evening both nights we were there) was opposite. She wasn’t friendly or polite. We had issues with hot water to bath both nights.

Not once in our 3 day stay was our room picked up, vacuumed, trash emptied etc. We had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. The employees were very respectful and helpful. I would expect more tidying up over a three day stay.

Comfortable one night stay
Our one night stay was comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast was perfect. The only complaint we had was a dirty mattress pad on the sleeper sofa and staff quickly provided us with a fresh one.

Terrible Place to Stay
Our stay was not stellar. On a high note, the front desk people were excellent. Our first room was unacceptable. The closet folding door was hanging by 1 screw and could not close - A serious safety item. Food left in fridge and bathroom not cleaned - Towels laying on floor, etc.. We needed 3 keys and none worked. 2nd room was a bit better, but the fridge would not get cold. Key card problems once again. There was NO ICE available anywhere on the 3 floors! Front desk had ice in small plastic bags, and I question the purity of the ice bagging process. I'm sending a copy of this review to the Randolph County Public Health Department.. I don't recommend staying at this Fairfield Inn. For the price, this should be much better. There has got to be a better option in the Asheboro area.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like welcome family. Every member of the staff was friendly and efficient. what's up with getting towels replaced
This was our second time at this location, the first time we had a problem with housekeeping replacing the towels they didn't. had to go to front desk and got replacements we were told to place the the soiled towels to place them out side the door. This time when checking in for our three night stay I asked if the towels to be replaced, not done caught cleaner in hall and got them from her. also all the Ice machines were broken we were told to go across the street to the Hampton to get ice. Not sure we will return to this location on next trip. The service staff were respectful and cordial . room was 232 dates oct 25,26,27

The staff was wonderful..The bed was horrible(hard as hell)..I had to buy my own ice(none of your ice machines worked). There was no soda to buy(told the truck didnt come although everywhere else had pepsi)...The inside of the hotel was like 90 degrees and in my room the air conditioner keep resetting itself to 74 degrees..

Top notch.
We enjoyed our stay. The front desk was very friendly and inviting. Checkin went smoothly. Our room was comfortable and clean. It was surprisingly quiet also considering the hotel looked full. We enjoyed our time in the pool. The pool Area was clean also. The hot tub is permanently closed but we knew that ahead of time. We definitely will stay here again. It’s convenient to restaurants and the zoo.

Nice staff, comfy bed and room. Good breakfast. Difficult to locate property. Better signage at turnoff to property would help.

Tiny room/poor temperature control
Employees were very nice. Breakfast bar was good. Room was the smallest and worst laid out room that I can ever remember staying in. The temperature control was awful— either freezing or too hot. It fluctuated all night long. None of us, 2 children and 2 adults slept well because of the temperature. Only received 2 towels for 4 people— had to go to the desk for more. Pool was open and nice but the water and room temperature was cold. We had to put the chair in the closet so I didn’t trip over it at night. Needs updating. Idk if we got the worst possible room, because we purchased through Hotels.com, or what, but it was not satisfactory.
