“can't wait to go back”
me and my wife been to aruba 4 times and always stayed at the radisson resort and this time since the radisson was not available and looked to book a package with my kids going there for the first time...i found the westing at a great deal with airfar and gave it a shot. I was very impressed with the hotel and liked it alot. compared to the raddison it is a bit different as the lobby and walking around the hotel...your always in the great AC and all the stores are near each other ...not like the raddison that you have to be in the hot humid lobby and in and out of the stores constanly and for kids i really recommend this hotel, because it's safe and they loved it. people are very nice food is great at the AZUL RESTAURANT and others. i recommend that you reserve your own palapa at the front desk and pay cause you really don't want to get up at 6;00 am to be on line when the hut opens to get towels and get a palapa....i looked out the balcony one morning and people we're lined up from 6 in the morning so they can get good palapas!!! on vacation and do not want to get up everyday to reserve beach chairs...so pay as many days as your they and it's worth it!!!!! other then service...is great and people are very friendly always.....the pool is ok...not as clean as i been to other hotels.
“Wonderful time!!”
My husband and I both have been to Aruba before, but a first to the Westin. We got a fantastic deal on Expedia when packaged with airfare. For the price we paid, the hotel was perfect! We rented a car, so most days were spent exploring. The room was very nice and in my opinion upgraded with a lot of amentities. We requested a refrigerator which ended up being a great idea. The food in Aruba is extremely expensive so to have lunch and breakfast snacks was nice. We got upgraded to a partial view when we arrived which was nice. The way the hotel is angled, I'm not sure what a full view would look like, but it definitely wouldn't be ocean front. I was happy we didn't pay the extra. We always found chairs and umbrella at the pool each day, but I will say the beach was absolutely packed. My only complaint would be each day we were there a private party was scheduled and areas closed down at 3-4pm. It was kind of frustrating to get a letter each morning in our room saying the beach is closed at 3-4. Otherwise, the hotel was great! The restaurants are great and there are plenty others a close walk away.
“Aruba was amazing”
Great hotel, great room, great pool and great service! I recommend it!
“Wil definitely go back to the Westin.”
This was our second visit to the Westin and we were completely satisfied. We were there for a wedding and the staff did a wonderful job with all aspects of the the on-the-beach wedding. The Westin is a great hotel for families as well as couples, The beach is beautiful and well maintained. We are already discussing as to when we can return.
“Westin - The Hotel With A Heart”
Was at the Westin from 8/21 to 9/3. I could not get a flight out due to the hurricane on the East Coast. We were only supposed to be there a week, but it turned into two weeks. The Westin was wonderful to us, gave us a reduced rate for the extended week, did not charge us for the refrigerator we had in our room, but the staff at this hotel were terrific. Everyday I tried to reach Jetblue and the lovely young lady at the desk, Davia, helped me to connect to Jetblue, got me a chair to sit on (since it was a two hour phone call), and tried every way to make me comfortable. The hotel does need a few upgrades, but our room was always clean and refreshed with coffee every day, (thank you Luz!). The pool is sparkling clean and more than adequate. The beach is beautiful. This is my 15th time in Aruba and I definitely would stay at the Westin if I go again (not in Hurricane season though!) Would I recommend the Westin - ABSOLUTELY!
“Great for families”
Westin had great pool are w/ lots of activities for adults & kids. had water aerobics, Movie night at the pool, little tiki bar. Great pool service - free ice towels & fruit. Beach is right there w/ tiki umbrellas for shade if you want Definately would go back.
“definitely relaxing, not a high entertainment, activity hotel”
great view of island and ocean, casino (always fun), food at restaurants in hotel was spectacular (worth the $) staff pleasant and accomidating. pool and beach clean and spacious. would suggest renting a vehicle for easier access around island although many facilities are walking distance, and there is public transportation also, we just found it more convenient.
“Best and friendliest staff on the island of Aruba”
The Westin Aruba is our home away from home...the heavenly beds are definitely heavenly and customer service exceeds all around...hotel restaurants are very good and prices/incentives have improved compared to past years. Will definitely be back!
“Great Place for a Honeymoon”
We had a wonderful time and would love to go back to Aruba. The All-Inclusive package is a great deal with top shelf alcohol and good food. The huts and the beach are very relaxing (this is where we spent most of our time). The restaurants are wonderful. The service from the staff is wonderful and fast. After the first day the staff knows your name. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. One problem was that the bathroom smelled moldly at times, but there are no exhaust fans in the room. We did see mold on the ceiling of the bathroom but we had no others problems. The mold smell was one we could live wtih. A suggestion was made to the hotel to put exhaust fans in. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay at the Westin again. Aruba is a wonderful, beautiful island. Very safe and very easy to get around by taxi. The people are very welcoming and helpful. We are definitely going back.
“Impressed”
Very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful. Planning to go back in a couple of months.

Palm Beach, Aruba: The question on Palm Beach is this: lounge or live large? Theres a reason the major resorts and clubs are located near these calm waters. The beach is an ideal place to do absolutely nothing, with a cold drink in hand. Theres also swimming, golf, horseback riding, ATV rentals, and plenty of water sports.
