“Great hotel bad internet”
Except for the internet service, which was very expensive and not working, the hotel was great!
“Divi Dutch”
The location of the Resort was perfect, Close to bus line, grocery store and shops. The staff was super nice, and a shuttle would take you within the resort (which is huge) anytime. I would come back here in a minute. If there would be one thing the could change would be the bed, it was a very firm mattress. Overall keep it up Divi Dutch Resort.
“Great Place, Location and Staff”
I read many reviews of the hotel when booking the stay and am really surprised there were any negative ratings. Our room was fantastic. We had a one bedroom that was on the third floor, had a beautiful balcony, a view of the pool and if you looked to the left, you could see the ocean. The Bunker Bar, a place that quickly became our favorite hangout at the resort was about 100 yards away, and the ocean was just beyond. The Divi Dutch Village is right by the Tamarijn which is all inclusive, and you have to buy vouchers for food there, but it isn't that big of a deal and at the Golf you can eat at by charging to your room or paying cash. There is a bus stop to go downtown or to the high rise right in front of the place and it's cheap and easy to use...otherwise the taxis are easy and inexpensive as well. Aruba itself was just fantastic. Met so many great people and can't wait to get back. I would definitely consider staying at the Divi Dutch Village again.
“Just the way we wanted to be”
We stayed at the Divi Dutch for five nights in April (two adults and two children). Room was clean and spacious. As it was at the third floor we had an ocean view. Kitchenette and balcony very useful. Beautiful beach and not crowded at all. Location is very convenient. Shuttle service within the complex very helpful as well as most of the staff. Highly recommendable.
“Our wonderful time at Divi Hotel”
Me and my family had a amazing time at Divi. The rooms was always nice and clean by their wonderful maids. Their staff was very helpful. We really enjoy our time there.
“Divi Dutch in Aruba”
Overall I had a very nice stay at the Divi Dutch except when checking in the receptionist forgot to tell us since we are on inclusive we would have to go to one location to buy tickets to eat and drink. We then could go to either Divi depending on what we wanted to eat. The Windows of Aruba was breathtaking.
“second visit and looking to book again next year”
our 2 week stay Oct 27th to Nov 9th 2011 was great, hotel, room and a great beach and many pools to use.staff and grounds great.will book again next year. Tom
“We will go back”
Dutch Village was great ,rooms, hotel property, employees, location were the best, will go back again for sure.
“Really enjoyed it!”
We stayed at the Divi Dutch Village in July 2005 for two nights after a cruise through Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. The room was really nice. Although, we had one of the older rooms that hadn't been refurbished yet, everything was extremely clean and spacious. We had a studio apartment. It had a big bathroom, a walkin closet, a full kitchen, and a king size bed with queen sofa sleeper. We stayed there with our 15 year old daughter and had plenty of room. We also had a private balcony with our own hot tub. The beach was really nice and clean. There were plenty of chaise lawn chairs and cabanas and/or palm trees to shade you as well. There were at least three pools at the Divi Dutch and you were free to use the pools at the other Divi resorts with a free shuttle on their golf carts. Most of the time there were no more than five or six other people in the pool at a time. We enjoyed the all you can eat Italian buffet at one of the Divi restaurants on Sunday night. It was around $18 per person. There is a grocery store about a 5 minute walk away. I would not hesitate to return to this resort.
“FRONT DESK MISSING”
THE HOTEL IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND CONFORT, BUT I DONT LIKE THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE THIS HOTEL HAVE THREE FRONT DESK AND THE PERSONAL DONT KNOW THE FRONT DESK OF US.
