“Wonderful stay once again.”
This was my second visit to the Bucuti and it was just as wonderful. The hotel is decorated beautifully, very clean and the staff is amazing. They are genuinely happy, kind and do all they can to ensure your stay is perfect.. I would higly recommend the Bucuti.
“awesome”
we felt very welcome and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful with anything you need. they actually know who all of the customers are and that is very impressive they pay that much attention to detail. the beach is beatiful and the hotel is awesome. the breakfast is to die for. we can't wait to go back.it is also very nice for couples since there are no children. it is so relaxing there
“Excellent place to stay”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is definitely a place more geared to adults and that is a plus. The little store they have at the hotel is very expensive, buy your beer and snacks at the grocery store. The staff was great, the Pirate's Nest restaurant had very good food. We ate lunch and drank on the beautiful private beach. They have topless sunbathing as well.
“Great place for a honeymoon”
We stayed at the Bucuti for our honeymoon two weeks ago and we would highly recommend it for newlyweds looking to get away and enjoy some peaceful solitude. Eagle Beach was gorgeous and we were able to get a front-row palapa (or very near to it) every day of our stay, no matter what time we finally made it to the beach. The renovated rooms are sleek and simple in design and very comfortable, and they were extremely clean and our room was well maintained throughout our visit. Despite warnings against the Pirate's Nest, we enjoyed happy hour and appetizers there the first day, had convenient beach service of drinks and lunch one day, and thoroughly enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger one night when it got too late (and we were too tired) to leave the hotel for dinner. We would say that the Pirate's Nest staff and service was very friendly and the bar on the beach was exactly what we needed, when we needed it. We did not eat at the "formal" restaurant, but for light meals, drinks, and snacks, we thought it was great and really appreciated the convenience and hospitality.
“Great Honeymoon Spot, The Tara Suites is a must!”
The hotel was great for a honeymoon! We were greeted and offered a drink as we learned about what the hotel had to offer. Then taken to our room where there was a gift basket waiting. Our view was the same view you see from the Tara Beach camera on their site. The sunset dinner was great but you can also just eat outside at the Pirates nest and see the sun set right in front of you. Be sure to have your camera out when you come in for landing. You can see the whole island from the plane. It would have been an awesome picture if we had known. Most of all it's a very relaxing place. The beach and water was beatiful and you can sit under a hut and it's not too crowded. They also have flags that you can put in the sand to ask for a waitress to get you a cocktail. If we ever make it to Aruba again, we'll stay at the Bucuti!
“Enjoyable Stay”
This is a well-run hotel in the low-rise district. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. You are made to feel like a welcome guest. It seems like the majority of guests are repeat visitors. It's located on a beautiful stretch of beach and there appeared to be a sufficient (barely) number of palm tree coverings where you could put your beach chair under. The Bucuti is situated ideally - about midway between the high-rise hotels and downtown. The taxi fare to most places you'd be heading to is moderate ($9). Bus service is readily available just outside of the property. One if the casinos is just a short stroll from the hotel. The full breakfast (included) is good, although we've had better at other places we've stayed. Not too many guests appear to eat dinner at the restaurant, it has a mediocre reputation. There are many good restaurants within a short cab ride. My wife & I would definitely join the many repeat guests if we were to return to Aruba.
“Wonderful”
This hotel was wonderful. The beach was gorgeous the people were friendly, the food was phenomenal, the hotel staff were extremley helpful in making our stay a memorable one.
“Planning Next Year's Trip”
My husband and I stayed at the Bucuti Beach Resort from April 16-22, 2005. We were very happy with all aspects of the hotel. The European style set-up of the Tara Suites was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean! We are already planning next year's trip!
“One of a kind gem!”
The best parts were the clean/quiet grounds, no fighting for beach shelter spaces, amazingly special staff members, a healthy breakfast that is included and keeps you going for the rest of the day, movies on the beach, free metal water bottles with coolers on the grounds for refills, rooms with awesome views, proximity to the beach, casino and bus stops. A frig, coffee maker and microwave were included in the room for those looking to cost cut. The room was ready promptly upon check in and was exactly what we reserved. The quiet pool uses no chemicals. Friendly iguanas and parrots and a large reading library were also enjoyable. The list could go on and on, but this was one of the most outstanding hotels I have ever stayed at and will surely return if I can. Also, I was pleased to be there on Earth Day when the resort offered several special events highlighting their extensive sustainable environmental practices. I don’t want to sound trivial in any way, but I did come with the assurance that this resort was ages 18 and up only. Perhaps in keeping with its spirit of peace and harmony, the hotel permits local children to use the outdoor showers and some of the grounds (not pool). During several days of our stay, local youths loudly showered and wrestled below our balcony as well as playing soccer and hide and go seek games. Anyone is allowed on the beach but locals and some from other hotels were creeping up much further on the private grounds without rebuke.
“The Perfect Getaway”
This hotel was simply perfect. It's clean, quiet, relaxing and friendly. Our room was an excellent size and always clean. I liked the fact it was an eco-friendly hotel and did it's bit for the environment. It is situated on one of the best beaches i've ever been to. I highly recommend the Bucuti if you're looking for a serene break.
