“Great place to spend a few days”
Beautiful setting with comfortable rooms and great views. Friendly staff who speak English and many other languages. And they are seriously Green.
“Great resort, high end of the spectrum!”
Great experience at this hotel! Concierge was great and booked all of our tours for us. Every room had an amazing front porch and view of the Arenal volcano. Indoor/outdoor shower was beautiful with lots of privacy. Only downfall is of the area in general - no real nightlife - but other than that, a great place to go for natural beauty and adventure tours!
“Comfortable launching point for exciting Arenal activities”
We were very happy with our experience at Arenal Springs! The hotel was a little difficult to find when arriving to La Fortuna in the dark, but the condition of the roads is endemic of the area, not the fault of the resort. Service was incredible - staff was friendly and helpful with any little thing we needed. The layout of the resort made it like a small community. All the rooms were clean and cozy with patios facing Arenal volcano. Our favorite part was the beautiful pool area! We looked forward to a swim every night after hiking, rafting, etc. I definitely hope to return and will recommend this place to friends!!
“Arenal Adventure”
Arenal Springs Resort was great. The price was good and the staff were excellent. One thing that I liked best is that most of the staff speaks English and they were willing to help us in any way they could. For those who are planning and excursion, I would recommend talking with Selime. He pointed us to areas that were absolutely breath taking. Because of Selime, we were able to get pictures of the volcano peak with no clouds around. From what I understand, this was a rare opportunity. The only bad thing about Arenal springs is that we had to leave.
“Great Hotel for Arenal Area”
First time in CR. Loved hotel and location. I had a car to get around. Hotel has hot springs pool. Great view of arenal when clear. I would love to go back to this hotel. The cottage style of hotel was very nice.

Beautiful views, amazing staff, awesome "hot springs" pool, large room with a fantastic shower, easy process, great concierge service, easy booking of activities, a short drive from the touristy La Fortuna. Loved every minute of it!
“Great Mid-Level Hotel!!!!!!!”
Great hotel! The grounds are really nice and the location is central to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel for mid-level place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is VERY friendly.
“Loved it!!”
Arenal Springs Resort is absolutely spectacular. From the great views (if you can catch the volcano... we were only able to see it the 1st day we got there) to the rooms and staff, we loved everything. The room was very nice and comfortable, the small deck in front with the rocking chairs was a nice touch. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. We went to the spa and got a couple's massage, which was also great. The pool is small but very nice, the swim up bar is great (btw, if you like seafood soup... order the one they have on the restaurant menu -- they have a bar menu but we were in the mood for soup and the bartender called the restaurant and we got our soup! So even if you dont see it on the Wet Bar Menu, ask them and they will get you something from the restaurant menu). We even got to try sugarcane juice from the huerta / garden in the back, which is nice just to explore and see different things growing. We will definitely be back. It was our 1st time in Costa Rica but definitely not our last!!
