“The hotel that turned itself around”

Past reviews were not positive.Our three night stay was wonderful.Staff were courteous,helpful,and prompt.The hotel was about a 30 minute drive from the Dead Sea,through enchanting scenery.The town is multi-cultural,with good resturants nearby,and easy walking to central shopping.Breakfasts were sumptuous,rooms were spacious and clean.Bargain prices for above average services.

“Ideal base for touring - but not luxury”

This is a standard but perfectly fine three star hotel. Clean, efficient, friendly, good facilities - with excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Everyhting was working well and the only mild negative is that the decor is rather dull.

Bonne accessibilité au son et lumières de Massada que l'on ne peut atteindre que depuis Arad. Hotel sans charme, impersonnel mais propre. Petite piscine intérieure bondée et ouverte seulement de 13h à 18h. Excellent buffet de petit déjeuner

“Stay Away!”

We picked this hotel because I had heard that Arad was cooler than staying down by the Dead Sea, and that it was only a short drive away. Wrong! It's in a very seedy part of town, and it took about 40 minutes to drive down to the public beaches. The only food available for breakfast and dinner is in the dining room, and for lunch one must go to the little open air mall behind the hotel for a choice of falafel or schwarma. The entire hotel is a dated brown/cream color scheme, with worn, stained carpeting and upholstery. It was depressing and embarrassing to have this be the impression of an Israeli hotel my mother will have from her visit.
