Je suis désolé d'apprendre les désagréments que vous avez rencontrés avec votre chambre initiale ne comprenant pas de salle de bains privative et les frais supplémentaires pour un changement de chambre. Je comprends que cela ne vous a pas été communiqué lors du processus de réservation et je m'excuse pour toute confusion ou frustration que cela aurait pu causer. Nous apprécions vos commentaires et veillerons à ce que ces détails soient clairement communiqués à l'avenir afin d'offrir une meilleure expérience à nos clients. An old B@B style hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. It's located right in middle of Antigonish, so it's super convenient. Low on amenities and luxury but it makes up for it with atmosphere. Includes breakfast too!

I enjoy staying here, but I would urge you to offer breakfast at 7 a.m. I would imagine there are other guests who are hitting the road early. To have noting set out (coffee, pastries, bread,, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, etc.) leaves a "bad taste." in terms of hospitality.Otherwise, my room was great!

It was nice stay. There is no breakfast as advertised. There isn't even coffee. There was no one at the desk you had to ring a bell. Disappointed as it is supposed to be a B & B and all you get is a bed.

Has the potential to be really lovely. Not dirty but not really super clean. There was no toilet paper in our washroom and I had to go searching in employee only areas to find some as no one was on site in the morning. The manger who checked us in was friendly It was fine to sleep for a night but I would not stay here again if we ever come back, not super inviting

The cottage is shared with another rental, can hear them, place is nice , they say an executive cottage, nice but not extra nice or roomy. No dish cloth or dish towels , or spoons . Person at checkin very nice.

The hotel room was charming but dusty. I looked under the bed because I was looking for something that I dropped and it was disgusting. We stayed in the Kirk room. The heater in the room doesn't heat evenly. While we were ok the room beside it where my daughter stayed was hot! we had to open a window because we couldn't control the heater. According to Expedia, breakfast starts at 8:00am (one of the reasons why I booked), it actually starts at 8:30am. Even their menu said 8:00am. My daughter had an event at 8:30am so we had to buy breakfast for her and come back for our breakfast. I told the person in front desk, and he changed the menu times. I also told him to check the time that Expedia has. He was very argumentative. I gave up. The breakfast was ok. Although the place has a nice charming, antique vibe, the service is not good. I would not go back.

There is a difference between private and ensuite bathrooms. The bathroom you were provided with was private, which means other than you no one else would be able to access it.

I like quirky older properties and this fits the bill however attention to room details were missing. TV did not work, light bulbs were missing, closet door did not open, a second closet was storage for window air conditioners. Not all is lost, the Inn was quiet, the manager helpful, the breakfast was good. Just need to look after the small details to go from average to great.

Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Although the rooms and linen are clean the property is very dated, in need of repair and a serious facelift. Room # 7 is on the uppermost level and requires mounting 3 flights of stairs (in a Victorian home with narrowing stairs the higher you go). There is no washroom in this room; it is located across the hall (this was not mentioned in the listing or upon check in. Staff were pleasant when I expressed my dismay regarding the washroom situation and I was offered a different room or full refund.
