We would stay here again
Great location . Desk clerk was efficient and courteous. Stored our luggage until the room was ready. However staff should have carried our luggage to our room when the room was ready. No English speaking television even though s card near the tv indicated there was English tv . When we asked at the desk he said quote “ not on.” No explanation . Good breakfast provided in a pretty setting. Bathroom has a tub - with black marks on the tub . Definitely could use a modern shower update. Pillows were too soft . No alternative to very very very soft pillows. Hotel was quiet for sleeping purposes. We would stay here again if we visited Wittenberg .

stay inn Wittenburg
My room was clean and comfortable. I had a view of the front of the hotel close to elevators which made me happy. The bathroom was spacious and had a shelf in the shower for my shampoo etc. Breakfast was very good with outdoor seating available. Outdoor space was open all day to sit and relax with a cool dring.

Good place to stay.
Clean. Comfortable. Typical European breakfast. Parking was in a strange place. You need to go in and ask how to get there. Would stay there again.

The room layout there is a disconnect, Coffee machine no electrical connection. Refrigerator is useless. The lights on/off selection for areas in room are weird.

The hotel was the perfect location, and nicer than i expected for a best western. It was very nice with a huge tub to soak in. The breakfast was also lovely.

Very good location in Sachsen-Anhalt, 5 minute walk from centre of Lutherstadt Wittenberg, a lively place full of history. Will come back here many times.

This definitely was not worthy of 4 stars. The bathroom shower curtains had pink mold as well as the shower walls. Room was tiny!

Bit pricey for the room. Rest of hotel nice
Fancy place on the high street with loads of world heritage sites. Big breakfast hall and quite grand entrance. Quite a typical best western though as they all seem to have quite dated rooms that are nice but somewhat basic

Great visit to Wittenberg
Great location to visit Wittenberg. Right next door to both the Luther Museum and the Melanchthon Museum. Good service. Good English, which we appreciate as poor German speakers. Easy access to Potsdam and Berlin.

The dining room staff was great with small children, they had a box of toys to keep the child occupied while us adults chatted. The food was very good too. Would have been better if they had a fitness center.

Wittenberg Weekend
The Best Western in the quaint town of Lutherstadt-Wittenberg is excellent. It’s located on Collegienstrasse which gives guest easy access to food, shopping, and all the major sights. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is professional and very helpful.

Luther would have stayed here!
The room was extremely nice and roomy and the breakfast was perfect. The location puts you at a 10 minute walk from the train station and is 100m from the LutherHaus. The staff speaks English and are helpful.

I had an awesome stay and highly appreciate the service provided by the reception, restaurant staff and house keeping staff. What I expected I received and sure to recommend this hotel. I also wrote a letter of thanks and gave to reception at the time of my departure.

Ideal location for historical sites
I attended the Reformation celebrations. I visited Lutherhaus and Melanchthonhaus and the churches associated with the Reformation. The were many events during the festival.

Fair to middling.
Hotel is OK. Nothing too bad, nothing too good. Food is fine, service can be very slow. Rooms are OK - bedding poor. Pillows too soft and single quilts on a double bed are frustrating. Air conditioning is a joke - it just circulates warm air and cools nothing. No mosquito nets on the windows and they have to be open to try and get some cool air. There are other places to eat and drink - so you don't have to stay at the hotel. I also found the restaurant staff asking for cash instead of just putting food and drink onto my room - that sounded like a fiddle to me. It was done in the end, but it shouldn't be a problem in a modern day hotel that is billed as 4 star.
