Complimentary amenities include wireless Internet access, local calls (for the first 20 minutes each), and TVs with HBO. Multi-line phones with voice mail are also provided.
Executive suites have compact refrigerators and wet bars.

Solstice Bar and Grill - Casual dining with city views. Alaskan seafood specialties, steaks, burgers, and other American fare. Local microbrews and full bar. Breakfast buffet available May-September. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner; bar open from late morning to late evening.
Room service - Available from late morning to late evening.
Recreation
The Westmark Hotel has a complimentary, 24-hour fitness center with a treadmill, free weights, stationary bike, and elliptical trainer. Discounted passes are also available to The Alaska Club, a health club, two blocks away.
The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, an 11-mile paved path along Cook Inlet, draws walkers, runners, bicyclists, and even moose. In winter, the trail is lighted and groomed for cross-country skiing. The closest access is about five blocks from the hotel. Bike rentals are available downtown. Flat Top Mountain, about 11 miles from downtown, is a more strenuous hiking trail. Views from the summit encompass the city, the Chugach Mountains, Cook Inlet, and Turnagain Arm.
Outfitters in Anchorage offer fishing adventures to the backcountry via seaplane. The Alyeska Resort, about 40 miles from downtown, has 1,000 acres of deep, pristine snow for downhill skiing and snowboarding.

The hotel was well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the best places to eat....

This hotel is an excellent location for those traveling without access to an automobile. We were able to walk to our activities easily. The on site restaurant was very good, and convenient. Out room offered an excellent view of downtown Anchorage, and the surrounding scenery.
“Great hotel with a great location”
This is the first hotel I stayed in, in downtown Anchorage and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms are nice and big, the staff is friendly and you can't beat the location. I only stayed one night and wish I had booked my whole stay here.. plus the hotel restaurant is very convenient.

Anchorage is not that big and hotel is in good walking distance to many nice places and resturants.
