Free Shuttle service to/from Airport runs 6AM to midnight - very helpful, easy to use, regular schedule. Hotel excellent. Breakfast Buffet superb. Nearby restaurants include fast food (KFC and Burger King), cafeteria style, and sit down.

Very comfortable stop-over for catching morning flight out of Schiphol (free shuttle - approx 10 min to airport). Having multiple dining options nearby,in addition to the hotel offerings, was also a nice feature. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

“Classic, Contemporary, Clean”

This is a rare endorsement from me, but this hotel earned it in every aspect. The free shuttle to Schipol is one of the nicest conveniences and made certain facets of my journey there possible! The hotel if very clean and even when it is busy, it is very spacious and traffic moves swiftly. The rooms are enormous especially considering the cost of the room. Every thing was clean and remained that way. I love the decor because it offers a very classic, but still contemporary look. This was without the hotel highlight of my Eurotrip!

Excellent Hotel. Very large spacious room, with bath tub and shower in bathroom. Only thing about Europe is there are no wash cloths. I loved the service of the hotel and would Definitely Stay Again.

The breakfast included in the daily rate is absolutely outstanding. The rooms are spacious and the furnishings very comfortable. The restaurant for lubch or dinner is fabulous. The layout of the hotel is not the greatest, a lot of up and down to get from one area to the other. Overall, I'll go back any time.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Hotel Schiphol A4! I travel a lot and typically spend 300$ + per night on my room, but because I was traveling with 7 others and they were price-sensitive, I had to find a cheaper hotel. I expected something with a "motel" feel for the price, but the Hotel Schiphol A4 really surprised me. The bed was comfortable (two twin beds pushed together to make a king), each room had it's own large deck, the entire floor I was on was non-smoking. Rooms have AC and both showers and nice, deep soaking tubs for a bath. The hotel also has a classy late night lounge that serves a full bar. Two things that the hotel didn't have: a phone or alarm clock in each room. It didn't bother me, because I used my cell phone. The hotel is on the outskirts of Amsterdam, in Hoofdoorp. The hotel-to-airport shuttle comes every 30-40 min. From the hotel, to get to Amsterdam you have to take the shuttle (about 15-20 min) back to the airport, and catch the train (right there from the airport and very close to the shuttle drop off) into Amsterdam. A round trip train ticket costs 6.90 Euro to Amsterdam Central station. From Central station you can catch the metro via multiple trams coming every 15 min. to just about anywhere you want to go in Amsterdam. The shuttle runs from 6:00 am in the morning to midnight at night. If you need to catch a ride between midnight and 6 am, they can arrange it for you for a 20 Euro fee. I was very happy with my stay.

The employees spoke English which made all transactions smoother. I was given a room that was smelled of smoke - so I requested a different room and was granted one without any hesitation. I only spent one night, but accommodations were wonderul. It was especially nice to have the shuttle service to and from the airport which was quite close to the hotel.
