“Very nice new hotel”
The hotel was brand new and very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything you expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom has glass doors and a window that overlooks the sink. If you are staying with significant other than it is ok but if you are sharing with friends this may become an issue. The hotel is situated a little outside of the city center but the tram is just outside the door. There is a supermarket across the road which was very handy. Not a lot of restaurants around the hotel which is the only down side. Would definitely recommend.
“A peaceful oasis ....”
so pleased to have found this little oasis of calm on the periphery of the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city. Very smart, newly opened boutique style hotel on the edge of Oosterpark, with excellent public transport connections to the city centre. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only area that could be improved is the service in the Entocea Restaurant. We did arrive late and at end of service so it all felt a bit rushed. The waiter had no idea how to open a bottle of wine & showered my husband as he removed the cork whilst holding the bottle between is thighs ! Despite this, will definitely come back here !
“A Surprisingly Superb Hotel”
Brand new hotel (well, since July 2011). While a bit off the beaten path, most of Amsterdam is still very accessible. Perhaps the only downside are the liquid soap dispensers that usually get clogged. I'd recommend bringing your own soap. Also, the ultra-modern motif might not be everyone's cup but it can hardly be held against this hotel which is quiet, comfortable, and contains an excellent and reasonably affordable restaurant and a wine bar with an extensive list of Italian wines by the glass. Add in the free wireless that really works; it becomes quite a pleasant surprise!
“très bon choix”
Excellent: nous y avons passé quatre nuits. Bonne situation (relativement près du centre, un peu long à pied mais seulement cinq stations de tramway pour 'waterlooplein'), propreté irréprochable, quelques commodités dans les environs de l'hôtel. Nous y retournerions très volontiers.
“Awesome!”
The Hotel itself was really cool, the decor was really funky, everything was super clean and the bed is super comfortable. The Staff are really friendly and are multi-lingual which is useful for people like me who just can't get the Dutch pronunciation right! We didn't have breakfast there as, at €15 per person per day, it seemed a little expensive. The Restaurant which was situated in the Hotel wasn't very impressive either. The food was overpriced and quite honestly not worth the money.
“Great surprise”
Great surprise! The staff, the room, the lobby, the restaurant.....everything was wonderful. Keep on track and you guys will be busy all the time!
“GREAT HOTEL STAY”
FANTASTIC HOTEL! Loved the modern interior, loved the huge bath, modern fittings and HUGE bath towels. Comfy bed, yes strange that it was two singles pushed together, but didn't mind a night of having my own little space. Staff extremely helpful, all speak English and wonderful food in the restaurant. Would and already have recommended this hotel.
“Outstanding Hotel experience!”
Very much enjoyed my stay for 1 wk at the Eden Manor. Hotel concierges were very helpful as were the other staff. Very convenient as 3 different tram stops were within one block. Room decor/comfort was outstanding with balcony and high ceilings. Highly recommended!
“Lovely, clean, modern and convenient hotel”
We chose this hotel based on the great Trip Advisor reviews. Everything was spotless, brand new and full of quirky character. While not in the centre of town, Eden Manor is right next to the no.9 tram line to Centraal Station that takes you past all the main sites and attractions (Artis Zoo, Rembrandtplein, markets, Dam Square etc) which made it a perfect location for us. There are several really nice bar/cafes on the street nearby (Caffe Milo and Spargo in particular), perfect for a later breakfast or an evening drink. Thoroughly recommended!
“High Expectations, High Times”
This hotel was to the highest standard, we were very impressed with the friendliness and helpfullness of all the staff and would definitely return.
