“Good Hotel in perfect location”

We spent two nights in this hotel, which gave us a very good impression---very comfortable bed, very convinient businessoffice, very close to the main station, and just at Dam square and the tram stop to the musuems is just in front of the hotel! even with expresso coffee maker in the room! Just as other European hotels, the room is not spacious. Though it's just beside the shopping street, it's very quiet in the room! I will choose this hotel again if I go to Amsterdam next time!

“Great Hotel & Good Deal”

My husband & I stayed a week here for our honeymoon & everything was great. The price was reasonable especially w our expedia deal. We didn't include the breakfast but its so centrally located there's tons of options. We arrived about 6am the first day but it wasn't a problem the hotel held our luggage & had our room ready by 11am even though check in wasn't until 2pm. Its easily accessible by foot & train, clean w air conditioning & very quite. Its not real fancy but we'd stay here again & recommend it to anyone.

“Great Hotel, Perfect Location”

This hotel is business oriented but located a few steps from Dam square and a block from the Red Light District. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A great hotel for a sightseeing adventure and the shopping mall is not but a block away.

The location of this hotel is great -- right off Dam Square and a short walk to Central Station and most attractions. The room was spacious by European standards. We would highly recommend it.

we had asked for room with a view-special birthday during our stay. Receptionist checked passport, said there was a surprise for me. Our room looked out onto Dam Square. 10 minutes after arriving waiter came to room with bottle of pink champagne - very nice gesture. Tram stop yards from hotel. Hotel great for sight-seeing, 10 mins(or less) walk to central station. Towels changed as often as guests want. Every evening curtains pulled, sweets left on side of bed, bottle of water on each side of bed, - note with expected temperature for next day. Nice little extras which help to make a holiday.

“great hotel in the DAM”

My boyfriend and I just returned from Amsterdam on 10-13 and spent 4 great nights at the Swissotel. We had the junior suite which was like a plush new apartment, not your typical hotel room. PERFECT location, tram across the street and excellent coffee shops in walking distance. You could walk from Central Station to the hotel, no problem. Huge room and great wood floors, large bathroom and not noisy. Friendly staff. Returning next year, same place ! We loved this hotel.

“Great Location”

This hotel was a ten minute walk from the train station, so no cab was needed. It was really in the heart of the city close to everything. The gym was small but nice with a great view to work out to in the morning.

The Swissotel is in the center of Amsterdam, next to Dam Square, a 10 minute walk to the train station, a 15 minute walk to the floating flower market, close to great shopping, restaurants, museums. The front desk was very pleasant and accomodating,the room was clean and comfortable.They left mints on your pillow every night. There was a coffe/espresso maker in the room, along w/cups and saucers. The only complaint we had was that the room need more ligting. The location is perfect. you are at the center of everything, yet we had no noise at night. I higly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

“All I Was Hoping For”

Location can't be beat. The free use of computers was a rare treat. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was the second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again.
